Nepotism debate is endless because there is no right or wrong in it.
Privileged people will say that there is nothing wrong in nepotism, because parents have all the right to think about their children. The same people will feel hurt when a more powerful person than them takes their chances because of nepotism.

Non-privileged people will complain about nepotism, but they will be the first to think about their children.

The thing is that human beings are extremely selfish. They dont treat others the same way as they want to be treated.

Nepotism supporters on this forum are either products of nepotism themselves, or want to come across as very understanding as it is the flavour of the season.

If people like Anushka can come without nepotism, then I would rather have star kids on the block.

Other possibilities are they are selfish and don't care as long as it doesn't affect them.
Or they are not hippocrites and accept that they would have done the same if they were in those people's place. 😊

Reallly, I thought it was ok. She mentions all she asks for is an acknowledgement for the phenomena. Beyond that she could hardly ask for more from her costars.

I re-read what she said after seeing your comment..it really doesn't make any sense to me..may be because my comprehensive skill is poor😕

Then whom should we blame? People like you who work with star kids?

Well, if the support is only there till it doesn't affect them, then that's not really a support.

And I don't think they will be so understanding when they are on the receiving end of nepotism.

I will blame the starkids who take away a deserving candidate's opportunity even if he or she has failed so many times.

Nepotism is bothersome when it becomes too much and they are incessantly people who could be easily forgotten in each and every movie. I still wonder if Alia would have been able to land Highway without Kjo. And her landing every hot director out there is a little too much too.
It's annoying because they are making her happen.

Some other starkid have either the features or some talent while some simply fade out.

Nepotism doesn't necessarily translates in a successful career. And truth is in showbiz, ultimately, those who hold the wallet are the decision maker.
