I am sure it is fake fianc. Another trick of Geetha's to get close to Ricky. This Vikrant guy is not bad. I think he is influenced by his mother since he has heard only her version of story and thinks she is right. Once he comes to know the real picture, he is sure to flip his sides...this Geetha woman is definitely bad news..She is taking advantage of the rift between Rishabh and Ricky, trying to make Ricky hate His father , using Palak for the same ( every time VP insults Palak instigated by Rishu, he is hurting Ricky) and Geetha and Rishu both are planning and hoping that they will be able to create a rift between father Nd son via this , though for different reasons. Geetha clearly is v jealous that her son whom she left at such an impressionable age had found a great mother in another woman and is very attached to her and the loser whom she left behind built such an amazing life and family with another woman. She wants to snatch her son back by posing to help him when he is deep shit.

Geeta's intentions are not clearly out as of now.. but she definitely is jealous of VP and son moving on with Mamta, so she is waiting for some disturbance and gap between them so that she can take advantage of it..

I am not able to guess what she wants now - if she wants to prove she was right back then or she wants to again create troubles for them..VP again got married and has his own family.. Ritwik may not sympathize with her or love her at this point in life, he wont give Mamta's place to Geeta, even if she was the one who gave birth to him.. all in all, this track only sounds forced for me to bring back Geeta since it wont change anything for anyone..

I agree it won't change VP or ritiwks relationship with Mamta.

I think this track will end with Geeta's death and at last moment she will do something good for ritiwk and VP which will give them closure.
