Janhvi Kapoor may be just one film old (Dhadak, which released earlier this year, and emerged a hit at the box-office), but that isn't stopping her from amassing a spate of projects in her kitty. After being finalized for a important role in multi-starrer costume drama Takht, followed by the lead role in a biopic on Kargil War Hero Gunjan Saxena, the lass appears to have bagged her fourth project, and it's another biggie.

Reports suggest that Janhvi has been roped in for Rannbhoomi opposite Varun Dhawan, marking her second outing under Director Shashank Khaitan after her debut. While Khaitan's first two films Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania starred Alia Bhatt, his next two have another hot favorite of his producer, Karan Johar.

Incidentally, if the report is true, then every one of Janhvi's first four films will have been produced by Dharma Productions. Looks like she's turning into Dharma's next blue-eyed girl after Alia. Will she emulated both the critical and commercial success of the latter though? Time alone will tell.

Can't be excited for anyone from the new lot...all their careers look so planned and so strategically directed...

I guess the last star kids, who struggled to make their place by experimenting stuff are Ranbir and Sonam. Rest all are getting films like candies.

Even Kareena had such an exciting career, like there's a graph, learning curve...

Now Alia, Jhanvi, sara, blah all are interchangeable and there's not one unique trait in them which makes them stand apart...pretend personalities, pretend relationships, pretend friendships...blah!

Matlab?😆coz he has given more, bigger openings & grossers w/o her than she has given w/o him but agree this might just be his 1st Dharma film where doesnt have to work with her😆
