@doc.love @happy.hippy -- rather than finding fault, was just thinking of how they presented the different views and found it really well done. :)
for me, what got me with waseem's line was when he said that he felt used by zoya whenever she goes through a rough patch but then dumped without any warning whenever she finds love. awww... so hope these two patch up soon...
and as for aditya, I found it very interesting that there was no smirk or satisfaction that he got what he wanted. (unlike the promo with anjana and papa hooda).
instead, it is sort of dawning on him that the way he went about it has ended up hurting zoya's family which is why he begs waseem to forgive them. I don't think he realized how much family meant to zoya because he does not care in that same kind of level for his family. he is always a bit of a loner where really it is his opinion that counts to him.
whereas, with this whole heart break, he gets to see what it is like when a family breaks and how painful it can be for everyone. it is not about who is right or wrong but just the pain. so he needed to see that and to see that he can provide her with as much love but family love is not something he can give. that is only her parents and her sister. so in a way, he needed to see what a good family would be like.
so thats the perspective we see dawning in aditya as he tries to make peace with waseem and show that it is indeed a right decision. found it very meaningful that he kept addressing waseem as sir and was very respectful. this wasn't the sarcastic rebellious aditya. even when he asks if zoya has a right to happiness and to fall in love, he tempers it and is not challenging waseem. instead, he is almost begging waseem to reconsider and give them a chance.
however, we will see a very different aditya with his own folks. 😉
