My most favourite character this season so far has been Mahir as I could connect to him the most.
I do not have much faith in Ekta... So I have wished for Mahir to have some special powers too so that his character will have something worthwhile to do. As this is a supernatural series obviously the thrill and intrigue will be associated with the ones who seem to posses power.
In all this we might tend to forget that the greatest power any living being can hold is strength of character. Genuine affection, being honest in approach to anything, a goodwill, a strong sense of morality above all honest emotions. A sense of feeling comfort, safety and security in their presence. The feeling you get around a family member, friend or pet... an anchor you can always come back to.😊
In their world of greed, power fights, backstabbing etc... coming home to something you can implicitly trust is the most priceless thing... I feel bad to see makers not dispelling the myth of Mahir being too 'boring' or 'just romancing' or just being around Bela... As a HUMAN he has a lot more to offer! They've already made him so endearing to most of us because he is someone who gives good vibes ALL the time.
So as a human he can contribute a lot and with his sharp observations and common sense (though on holiday today) he can even topple the so called powerful heroes or villains...Also the way the Naag/Naagins talk of 'ye insaan' 'these humans' type of stuff like humans are some kinda lowly beings...This is a good chance to show why being a human is as good as being a superhuman! They are no less awesome... But I don't think Ekta or makers have it in them to tap into that
