If she had approached social workers about what rajdeep us before she slept with kunal .,At least now they would have not interfered

It's all nandhini screwed up mindset which is a problem but not so I am workers

Honestly a social worker can't do much. Nandini told the police. That's what matters more. They can take action and get Rajdeep punished by law and thrown behind bars, which is where he should be.

And if Rajdeep has approached them now for assistance to bring Nandini back, it is their duty to check whether what Rajdeep is saying is true. All they had to do was check with the police and they would know that Rajdeep is not the innocent husband he claims to be. Plus how do you know they are social workers? I just thought they were society women.

Are you really sure that women are still not blamed for EMA? Maybe it's no longer out in the open, but it is still there. It happened with my bhabhi's friend and they live in Delhi. Her husband had an affair and a few select women blamed her for it. I'm not saying it is permeated throughout society. There are women and men who will blame the right person, but there are still fragments of society who will think and say that the woman is at fault.

I don't know what constitutes bashing, but the show does have me angry and I will portray that anger. And unfortunately a lot of that anger constitutes getting angry at the characters because those characters make up the show.

But I decided to put aside that anger and hatred and think about it from a writer's, director's, and producer's point of view. I tried to understand why Colors would choose such a show to air on their channel. And this is the only logical conclusion I came to.

OMG so true! I hate them for that. Nandini should have been shown scared witless first. Every time Kunal entered the room, no matter how kind, she should have been shown to be slightly afraid, which she would slowly come out of with time. Then they should have shown her getting back on her feet, taking steps to become independent, taking steps to punish Rajdeep via law, and then finally falling in love with Kunal and getting into bed with him. They skipped about a year's worth of transformation.

Yes . Her characrer is weird on so many levels . There is not an iota of guilt or repentence . Her dialogues are mind boggling . Like humne kiya nahi bas ho gaya . What woman ! Jhoot hi keh de galti ho gayi . And kisi ko paana itna aasan nahi..means kunal is double minded so he may go back to mauli or he may come to nandini..crap!

And, that transformation and then Nandini and Kunal falling in love with each other would have made a better story. But yes, like someone commented above, they need the 'masala'. Sad.

I feel even the transformation would have given them enough masala. They could have explored Rajdeep's character more and shown him creating hurdles in Nandini's move to become independent. They could have shown the court case and then Nandini getting back on her feet with Mauli and Kunal's help. They could have shown her fight on the street with society women who mocked her for divorcing and sending her husband to jail. They could have shown her fighting for other women who were being abused and then at this point they could have shown Kunal seeing this and starting to fall for this transformed Nandini. Oh they really had a lot to explore and it could have given them the masala they were looking for, if only they had tried!

And you know what. If they had shown all this, then people might have understood Kunal's love for Nandini better. Because then it wouldn't just be love after seeing a rain dance or saving her life a few times. It would be love for the person Nandini has become, the fighter.

Oh totally! They messed up so many things with Nandini's character and knowing Drashti's potential as an actress, she would have justified it to the T. They ruined the character by making her dependent on Kunal. I hate this concept of women relying on men for their validation and for their fulfilment. Excuse me - we are strong and capable enough to live without a man in my life. She should have come out of all this a fighter - a fighter for the right reasons and not fighting for Kunal and his love. 🤢
