1. How can they be sisters? Mohona is a 200-year-old dayan. CVs know no maths

2. Why is there no concern for the daughter at all? I understand that the first born is a davansh...but that doesnt mean that the dayan will have no yearning for her second born, or that devashri will be obsessed only about her son. does she not fear losing her daughter at all?

We are assuming Mohona and Ved mom was a dayan herself. As for the daughters well seems only the first born is more important and more prone to move over to the dark side. Also Ved knows Ansh life is in danger. So she remains worried for him.
