I have always wanted them to use Ae dil hai muskil for adiya. At this stage every line from the song speaks Aditya's condition.
Safar khoobusurat hai manzil se bhi .. Aditya and Zoya's safar from Jogi mahi, during jogi mahi both of them were lost in yash and pooja's imagination but by the end Adi had twirled her around to him and she landed in his arms. They both got lost for few seconds forgetting the world. It left it's impact on her so much that even today in crowd with loud music only aditya's jogi mahi was playing in her head :)
Then came tera hone laga hoon, where it was shown as aditya's imagination but they did dance in reality as well. Zoya was happy, content in his arms. She did not care he had lifted her up in between everyone.
Today with ae dil hai muskil, she kept getting distracted because it did not feel right to be in arshad's arms. She was agitated the entire time until Aditya's face came into the picture. The moment he held her she got her peace back. Her content smile returned. She forgot the world around her and danced. She has always danced with Aditya, it felt right.
The mehendi scene was a beauty! Arshad's insecurity got in the way and he himself erased her mehendi. Last time he tried to take adi's matki, he got shredded with glass, this time he erases his own name from her fate. Mehendi shagun is done now, both bride and groom are supposed to have mehendi on their hands and it's done! No one thought of putting mehendi on Arshad's hand but adi by accident got it.
Finally shades of old Adi was seen when he got the guilty look on his face. It was completely different from the blood engagement where he without any shame had said acha shagun hai. Here he actually felt bad that her mehendi got spoilt because of him. It was a pleasure watching Zoya still trying to protect him in her own way. When Ameena mentioned about mehendi, Zoya gave a side look to Aditya and quickly covered up by saying it must have happened during dance. After everything said and done, she is still trying her best to protect Adi from everyone's insults. She can't watch his head down.
Mahi ve, I loved how when Roshnaq's part came zoya's smile returned which her abbu in the beginning of the episode was forcibly trying to get. Just with their looks, you could tell the bond between mother and daughter is unspoken yet strong. Noor's part was emotional as well, the moment she said I want to give you all happiness in the world in your Doli, Zoya's smile dropped. She knows what khushi noor is talking about and it is not in arshad. From then on, Zoya goes into her Jogi mahi mode where her happiness resides.
Kidnapping part, seriously what's with hooda family and hoodie kidnapping š Anyway as wrong as it looks, aditya and zoya have never got the time after his confession to sit and talk alone and say their minds to each other. Even during confession, Aditya kept asking waseem to give him two minutes with zoya alone. If the spoilers are true then tomorrow Roshna's slap will finally put the breaks to his junoon. Finally Roshna as a mother will do, what anjana and sakshi could never do for aditya. She will make him realize in his junoon he has put his love's image at stake, he doesn't derserve her if he doesn't have enough courage to let her go.
Precap- I don't know how many times I have watched š It is showing feelings on another tangent! Jennifer has done excellent work! Mostly it will be a dream but going to talk about it tomorrow :)
Btw I saw a post on Insta saying Aditya Hooda is not channa mereya types he is bachna ae haseeno types, I don't know why but it was funny š¤£
