If SJ doesn't win the award for best actress, I'll really get disappointed. She deserves it. She was brilliant in her first show qubool hai but Gul's actresses never get awards because she isn't that powerful. This time it's Ekta so hopefully now SJ will be appreciated. It's long due man! Currently the best actresses on TV are SJ and Aditi who plays Mauli in Silsila. Aditi wouldn't get the awards as she isn't the lead. SJ deserves it and she should win it!

Aditi good actress but I felt aditi good in emotional scenes and ok in romance .

SJ best in both romance emotional scenes

Honestly NO ONE deserves the Best Actress award this year more than Aditi does She has been an absolute natural throughout Silsila. And I guess the love and support of majority of viewers would be with Mauli not only because it is such a wonderfully etched character (in a realistic setting) but also becausee how brilliantly it is played.

I feel Surbhi played a very difficult character in her previous show and the performance never got acknowledged. And true enough, she's a good actress in her own right. Maybe they can give Surbhi the award in Popular Category and Aditi in the Critics category.

Both surbhi n Aditi were amazing over all the shows but after seeing yday n today's episode Aditi more Bcz she got viewers support Bcz of her character n terrific acting which she got to show... since we have popular n critics theybcan give both 😳

Surbhi has done well in all her shows to date be it emotional, romantic or humor, she has expressed the right emotions to go with the character. Like @beguiling said Surbhi played a difficult character in her last show and for me she was outstanding but unfortunately her talent was not acknowledged.

Is Aditi the same Aditi that stars in Kareleein? If so she is good but for me not as good as SJ. As fans I guess we all have our biases and besides every actress has their moments of high and lows so I will not want to pass judgement on her. This is the first show of hers I watch and not regularly.

I see awards function not as recognizing true talent but instead who is the most favoured. I rarely watch Shows now because of the boring tracts and same old, same old expressions by even the most popular actresses who eventually go on to win big at awards. This for me is the reality of any award function. This is why as much as I think Surbhi is deserving of the Most Popular Actress Award and as much as I want her to win, I am not holding my breath for this to happen. I really don't mean to offend anyone so my apologies if I did.

Glad that we are acknowledging talent of other show actress here. This is the reason I like this forum. Aditi was terrific, specially in the last two episodes of Silsila.

Surbhi is doing great in Naagin. This is the first show of her I am watching. Have to give a try to watch QH or Tanhaiyan.

Aditi is good but not AS GOOD AS SJ. As I said compare SJ romantic scenes with aditi romantic scenes in silsila

I would suggest you watch QH up until the Ajmer track 😳
