Kdadi- don't need permission to take Kirthi home

we've already discussed heavily how double standard G family especially K Dadi is. She would have for sure expected singhanya family to ask permission when Naira was their Bahu. Anyway... point of this topic is a diff angle.

I love the Devyani replied back to k dAdi and has started to do so more and more...but...

I feel devyani dialogues are still week and defensive stance.

I want devyani to be more direct and show a clearer mirror.

Ex with same scenario:

KDadi: I'm not ask for permission, I'm telling you that I'm taking kirthi home.

Devyani: actually, kirthi herself would refuse to come with you bc of the way you have treated her and disrespected her in laws. And two I don't want naksh and kirthi to be seperated. And thirdly- you always expected over the top respect from us when Naira was your bahu so from now on, we expect the same on you if you'd like to continue your happy relations with your daughter.

Good start from Devyani but I just hope she gets even better.

I feel this is how the families have been written and that actually stems from Indian society. In Indian families, the bride's family is often the softer lot while the groom's is quite demanding. That was fine and was realistic till Naira was Kartik's wife.

Par ab kya hua? Now Goenkas are the ladki wale, not once but twice lol. And maybe that's why we are even seeing this much from Devyani, warna back to being sweeteners.
