I am so disappointed in her doing this...😕 I can already tell the film will be flat out rejected by the audience.

she hasn't learned from her past film mistakes...smh. actually if you ask me dawaat e ishq which flopped seems to be a better film than this!

will she be written off? and don't say she is already done etc..she is not..and she does still have a lineup with potential including Sandeep aur pinky faraar, Jabariya Jodi, and Kesari.

Is there hope for her

her number of flops are beginning to exceed her successes...

I really like Pari. I saw her recent Meri Pyaari Bindu. It was a really sweet film. I think the issue is her range...she gets typecast roles...and doesn't get something different... I wish her good luck!

How is it gonna hurt her career further when she already is done and dusted?😕Till she works on improving her screen presence,i don't see any of these lame comebacks of hers working in her favour.

Kjo needs to look above alia. Even pareeniti could have done raazi. That too better.

Lets put asides, Kjo bias and all.
Why would anyone in today's scenario cast an actress who doesn't have any box office pull, over an actress who not only did justice to the role but also has box office pull.

^maybe that's true..she wouldn't bring in the audience. but alia didn't achieve that eventual ability to pull by herself. so yes you are correct...but the right opportunities leads to success and success leads to stardom.

no opportunity= no success, no stardom.

this whole alia thing being where she is..is partly because of that. without it, the publicity, everything that has been invested on her was never been on her own. right from highway and the multiple kwk appearances..lobbying etc. I'm not sure she would be where she is, But no denyng alia acts good and she does good in the roles she has been. she was perfect as sehmat

But she is successful and popular because people have helped her immensely!

I'm not trying to make this an alia vs parineeti thing. actually this isn't about alia at all and how she compares. I'm sick of hearing that parineeti is less than the potential she has to offer. yes maybe some bad film choices like not doing piku hurt her...but lets not act like the comparisons are not unfair. just look at the difference in publicity and opportunity between the two actresses. its so sad.

when parineeti has to wait for a year to receive an average film after a flop...but alia gets a film with srk after a flop...like whats wrong with the industry?!

mind you this was very early in both there careers

Look at alias audition video of student of the year , she was fat, not that pretty. She was well gromed , "marketed" , guided and given some awsome projects on platter.

Replace alia with any actress who has potential. Results would had been same.

No Alia is a horse, maybe not the best horse in the industry, but she is still a fine breed.
And no, no matter how much you try, gadha kabhi ghoda nahi bansakta.
If Alia didn't had it, she would have been found out as did with Esha Deol, Fardeen, Tushar and so on.
