"SWAMI!" Laxmi ji bellowed.
Vishnu ji resting peacefully in his abode nearly jumped out of his skin.
"What! Why! Huuu!"
"What is this that I am hearing about you?" She glared at him accusingly.
"Me? Vishnu ji was confounded. "What did I do now? errmm to put it properly.. what did the humans claim that i did which in all probably i didn't but they say i did and hence declared that i did."
"YOU!" SHE glared further "You fated certain someone named Kunal and Nandini and blessed their destinies, fate, meetings, love and love story."
It was certainly a news for Vishnu ji.
"I did that? How come i didn't get the memo? Who are these characters exactly?"
"Kunal!" Devi ma explained. "Is the allegedly perfect husband and Nandini is the best friend. Of certain character named Mauli that they claim to love and don't want to hurt."
"Wait a minute! Backtrack there a bit!" Vishnu held his palm facing up like a traffic police.
"Kunal fella is the husband.
Nandini gal is the best friend.
and this Mauli person the wife here. and I am supposed to have fated the former two? And what about the wife here? I broke a marriage and brokered an extra marital love story? Man! Things this humans accuse me of! " HE smacked his forehead. "Who do i look like? Ekta Kapoor? Writer of Tele dramas? Who should i sue for this unfair, unjust, un-everything accusation?"
"Makers of 'Silsila badalte Rishton ke says so. That you brought K and N together. They have your blessings." Laxmi ji was glowering.
"I will SUE!" Vishnu ji bellowed. "By God! Oh wait a minute! That would be me! Yes! by me! I will Sue those guys. Have affairs or kill someone. Don't blame it on me folks. I am God not 'pass the buck' ka last table. Keep your buck with yourself."
"But they say your messenger Baba made N realize her love for K?" Laxmi had to add in.
"Who on the Vaikunth is this Baba? Must be Narad. THAT brat stirs up trouble wherever he goes. I should fire him from his job." Vishnu ji muttered in disgust.
"So you didn't write K and N story?" SHE was still giving HIM suspicious look.
"All my avatars especially Krishna are already badnaam in the Earth market. This humans blame/justify/whitewash their transgressions by quoting me. No never mind the tiny winy fact that I am GOD and there is more depth, layers and understanding to my life lessons that what those beings pick from the surface. Why would I give this beings more ammunition by writing a Soap opera now? K and N can do whatever the Vaikunth they want to. Spare the poor me. I yam innocent."
"Are you sure?" Lamxi wanted final confirmation.
"I am Devi. Sigh! I guess in this melee of K and N we totally forgot M. I guess she will be blaming me too for pushing her K onto N. Bill is always phadoed in my name." HE sighed deeply. "Someone should tell M that I am innocent. This humans always bajao my ghanti.. literally and blame everything on me. I need a vacation."
Laxmi ji gave him a sympathetic look.
"Cheer up Swami. Let's go for vacation. Where to?"
"How about visiting Kailash. Want to meet my mate Shiva!" Vishnu ji decided.
Meanwhile in Kailash.
"SWAMI!" Parvati ji bellowed.
