Zoya was never a prize for Aditya.

From the beginning of this track, one of my main concerns was that Arshad and Aditya were competing for Zoya as if she was a grand prize.
Today, I was scared to watch the episode because I was afraid Aditya would force Zoya into saying something he wanted her to say. But I'm so glad I didn't make a judgement till I saw the episode. Today Janaab Aditya Hooda proved that it was never about winning over Zoya's love. It was about stopping Zoya from making the wrong decision. Zoya took a decision to marry a man she barely even knows - why?! To stop her feelings for Aditya? And Aditya's supposed to sit back and watch as his best friend make a terrible life decision because she's too scared to accept her feelings? I'd want to stop a loved one from doing that too.

And his dialogue "even if I wasn't in her life, she wouldn't love Arshad". It's obvious that Aditya wants so much more for Zoya. Not just to be his love, but he wants her happiness. The way he told her it'd be a sin, meant so much more than just doing wrong to his love, but she'd only be hurting herself in the process. How is he supposed to just watch her do that?

The thing that really differentiates Aditya from Arshad in my eyes is that Aditya is thinking of her overall well being. I really don't understand why Arshad is so eager to marry a woman who's potentially in love with her best friend and possibly using him as a rebound, for lack of better term, (I know, I know, he's not really a rebound but Zoya asks him about marriage as soon as she gets upset with Adi? Hm...that doesn't sound like she genuinely wants to marry you bro!)

I don't care if Zoya decides not to marry Aditya, but for God's sake girl, don't destroy your life with a loveless marriage built on samjhota.

And that's all my thoughts for today, folks😃

P.S. Hats off to JenShad again, while Harshad had superb dialogue delivery, Jenny delivered all Zoya's emotions through her expressions👍🏼

Lovely post. I really liked Adi's dialogues, "even if I was not there in Zoya's life, she would have never loved Arshad" because he knows Arshad is not her type and she can never be happy with a man like him because both are completely different and incompatible. Arshad is a good guy but he is opportunistic and manipulative.
Another dialogue he said was "Zoya made a mistake of choosing a wrong guy once. I won't let her make the same mistake again. "

Today Adi answered all the viewers questions. If he had knew Zoya doesn't love him, he would have never expressed his love to her. He probably realized Zoya is also in love with him in the rooftop scene after Pooja's ghost made him realize his love. He saw Zoya's love for him in her eyes and that's why he decided to propose to her.

All the dialogues of Adi in the office scene were also correct. He called Zoya's decision to marry Arshad a sin because she's going to ruin her own life as well as Arshad's life. Neither will she be happy nor will Arshad.

Both Jenny and Harshad rocked today. The whole episode belonged to them.

I copied my reply for other post
What I liked in yesterday episode. that Adi didn't want to prevent her from marrying Arshad just because he doesn't want her to marry any other man but he doesn't want her to marry under the pressure she lives in now.

If he know that there is any slight chance she will love Arshad and be happy with him Adi will back off immediately

He is not a possessive man. He is not acting according to jealousy. He is so stable and so caring person who cares for her more than himself.

I don't know how Pooja and Sakshi called him a selfish person and he even never tried to be a good husband

Aditya is the best man to have relation with. Friendship, love, marriage, or even enmity

@Ishana the best dialogue I loved was even if I was not there in her life she wouldnt have married Arshad. It's the truth. Plain truth. She is marrying Arshad because of her overpowering anger and fall of grace. Death of her beliefs. She is closing out her heart.
Actually I remembered the rooftop scene pre-leap where Aditya holds her on the edge of the terrace. Where she experiences the burning hot sun. If she left the hand she will die, if she pulls he will also die, if he left the hand she will die, but he will not be at peace. Then he pulls her back. Only to close the door and she gets wet or cold in the rain trying to retrieve yash phone before he comes and takes her to hospital.
That's what is happening. In Aditya's confession she burned and in her need to retrieve Yash's phone or the past she is shutting down all emotions and is going cold. Mechanical. She will not be able to breathe in this condition.
In FB it was Madhu who brings back Aditya to give her the warmth of his hand. Why do I feel it will be Roshna this time who will take that decision. So that her head and heart are balanced.

Second Pooja told Aditya didnt love her. Really. His love was always wrapped in friendship. Because the Aditya running behind Zoya to confess looked so unnatural. As if it is not him. But the man who spoke yesterday was Aditya. It was not textbook romance. But it was most tender and pure words that came from him, straight from his heart with no tham jham. Aditya was always like that. Zoya's azeez dost. If he had something in mind he will speak out. Doesnt matter what other feels or whether other accepts or rejects.

Zoya had felt that love. She knows that love, but she has closed herself up. He only had to be himself to reach her. Actually he didnt need anyone neither Pooja nor Arjun. It's his battle, his own battle to regain her trust. To be the friend she says she has lost. And give her the love she wants wrapped in friendship. Make her happy. Because in her happiness lies his happiness. And he knows that. Arshad can live with dead Zoya as he is happy to get the trophy with whom he can lead a pre planned, systematic life. But Aditya wants the lively Zoya. The one who is alive, the one who fights, the one who walks away, the one who comes close, the one who take decisions. He can live with that lively girl who has the mind of her own. But Arshad cant.

lovely post 😊totally agree with you . @bold - tht was the best dialogue of strd's episode. He gave all the answers to our questions. It is very clear from adi as well as zo's side. The only diff is zo is in denial. Arshad is not adi. arshad believes what zo says frm her mouth, but cou ldnot understand her inner thoughts or pain nd thinks tht she really loves this wedding. Whereas adi knw what zo needs and nd he clearly understands zo's hrt. But even after seeing zo's concern for adi iam wondering why arshad is moving ahead with wedding preparations? Leave adi , atleast he should knw tht zo doesnt love him. Who will marry a girl who is not sure abt her feelings , who is not ready for marriage and who is cmpltly hrtbrkn. I want zoya to stop the wedding b4 mrg day. If she brks it on the wedding day it will hurt arshad also. This mrg wil ruin 3 lives. Zoya should understand tht.

I can watch yesterday's episode zillion times and specially the AdiYa scenes. Adi yesterday cleared around 80% of the confusions viewers had in mind regarding his feelings, he proved that he was not a roadside Romeo or as you said Zoya was not a prize for him, she was more than that. And I am so glad he exppexpla his weird behavior to her

Just loved the title of your post. This Zoya reminded of the Zoya who had come from the hospital after slitting her wrists. Emotionally shut down and mechanical. Aditya doing silly little things to irritate or enrage her to get a reaction. At that moment I realised Aditya had fallen hard for her. He could have let her be had she been emotionally stable, but he knows his Zoya needs his friendship to be happy to be at peace with herself. Aditya won't let her be a robot, he loves her too much to let the likes of her father to take away her happiness and confidence away from her. He would have happily lived with her friendship had Waseem and Arjun not intervened. It's not about his prize Zoya, neither it's about their relationship, it's about Zoya's happiness and her belief in herself and her judgements for which he had laid the first brick and Zoya built it brick by brick.

yesterday's episode acutually gave me a lot off satisfaction as a viewer because now i know why Adi didnt back off from zoya...he knew she too loves him and right now it will be a sin if she marries a guy whom she can never love...adithya wants to stop zoya from doing that sin not just to her and him but to arshad also...we all cried he is behaving like a teenager but actually he is way more mature than anyone out there...Adi didnt want this to happen...Zoya didnt want this to happen...But it has happened between them...He realises it now...she should also accept it because they are meant to be together...

Pressed with time so can't respond individually but I loved reading everyone's input. Was a bit scared to make this post because I felt I would have a ton of people bash me and say Aditya is pressuring her. :(
