Has Shraddha pipped Alia in stardom?

Pertinent question dont ya all think?

When Raazi became a superhit all credit went to Alia despite Vicky Kaushal's presence. And now why no credit to Shraddha. We all know the opening numbers RAo normally gets on his own or with other newbie actors. Poor Shraddha has no Akhtars and Azmis on payroll to fawn over her.

only a matter of time before KJo hires Stree director to make a movie for Alia. 😆

When you have a good product the audience will come. Now please dont say Rao is a bigger superstar that's why. Shraddha got a bigger opening than Alia's Raazi without KJo's major PR backing and troop of useful idiots to fawn over her every move.

It didn't opened bigger than Raazi though.
Plus Alia was the main player in Raazi, while in Stree it is RKR.

I think Shraddha can be credited for giving the movie proper publicity and hype due to her presence hence reaching more people. While it is RKR's performance which plays a role in WOM. Ofcourse lets not forget the script.

But Alia's presences not only did that what Shraddha's did for Stree but Alia performance also made the WOM strong. Hence her contribution was bigger than Shraddha.

Everyone from the industry knows the movie worked because of the producers Dinoo and T-Series. And Alia has already ditched Dinoo. I think Dinoo has been signing all Alia's potential rivals esp. Kriti for multiple projects to get back at Alia. One more hit movie by Maddock and Kjo would find a way to befriend Dinoo (Since Dinoo has cracked the low budget mass film wala code)... Would probably use good friend Anaita and her hubby to befriend Dinoo again.

both are huge stars..the biggest from the youth

as for opening numbers..none baring khans have that to credit them for..they are all highly inconsistent and totally rely on the trailer banner etc etc..

and shradha should be credited as much as alia was for raazi..stree is as much hers as rao's..it is not like she piggy backed on a movie like golmaal 4 where she had absolutely zilch to contribute or take credit for

Raazi was a content driven movie without any chartbuster songs or comic dialogues which attracts masses...Alia carried the movie on her shoulders..she played a huge role in its reach,initial collection and WOM..Vicky had a supporting role and he was not much known as he is today before..Raazi and Sanju is what made him a known face and now onwards he deserves to be credited for his upcoming movies.

While on the other hand Stree is your typical Bollywood style movie with catchy dialogues,nonstop comedy and chartbuster songs..though shradha helped in its reach,RKR and the trios performance is what made the WOM strong...and RKR also deserves as much credit as Shradha in opening credits because he is the current it boy and is popular esp after BKB.

And I think Stree deserves to be compared with the likes of BKB.

Shradhas contribution doesn't even deserves to be compared to a TWMR or Happy phir bhaag jayegi, though as films they are similar types but the ladies took the center stage in those movies so their contribution is much more.

I don't think Strees opening is more than Raazis.

Alia got full credit because Alia was the most popular star among star cast and she took the center stage through out the movie.

Saying Shradha deserves the same acknowledgement as an Alia in Raazi (or Kangana in Queen/TWMR or Vidya in dirty picture/Kahaani or Sreedevi in English Vinglish) is like saying Deepika deserves all acknowledgement for Padmaavats success..Deepika was the the most popular star in padmavat the same way Shradha is in Stree But you can't rule out Ranveer and Shahid because they are also popular..sameway RKR is also popular nowadays though not as popular as Shradha...Both Deepika and Shradha got the titular role but had nothing much to do..it was Ranveer who walked away with all acclaims the same in Stree too its RKR and the other 2 guys who shined through out.

I think when you see what Shraddha has achieved considering no one in the industry backs her, no one supports her and publicises her she has done very well for herself.

I still stand by the fact that Alia is talented and deserves a spot but also can admit she has been heavily advantaged by KJO - no doubt working hard to deserve it. Shraddha is a limited actress and cannot carry a movie solely based on her but has she been marketed that way maybe she would have reached where Alia is. I would take Jahnvi as someone who is in the same category as Shraddha - a good case study to see what KJO can and cannot do for her.

Raazi and stree had excellent word of mouth...so if Alia has box office pull and a mass loved top Star now like Box office India puts it out then why is Raazi's Sunday collection lesser than Stree's Sunday collection ? Why isn't Alia's so called Box office pull coming into operation?

i agree..if shradha was given even half the amount of support alia gets..she be at the top

but shradha really did things on her own..being a star daughter (if we can even call her that) if gave someone the least advantage..it has to be her..her dad had a terrible reputation..

she was signed for the most mediocre yrf movies..she went with her gut..broke 3 film deal with the most powerful man aditiya chopra for a bhatt movie..went againt all odds..and still is not getting movies on a platter
