Arshad

Arshad so far...In the first scene Adi mistook him for a goon and he turns out to be a doc..Arshad says 'what is seen is not always the way it is' ...again, after the an anniversary party, he takes Zoya to a lonely place, Adi again suspects him but it turns out to be hill with the a good view.

After the fake phone call when he reaches hospital, he is about to leave but does not because of his duty calls! He does not even leave when the staff wants to leave. He is not deterred when the goons come and still wants to attend to his patient.

After dinner of course he knows Zoya is not interested in him for marriage mainly because she is scared to love and maybe because of Adi. (now Adi, so far is in maybe list because Zoya is too scared to love)

Now, coming to janmashatmi special, until Anjana instigated him, it was just that he was trying to get some browny points from both Zoya and Adi but still the best a man can do...after all he is human and he does like Zoya.

Aditya challenging him, he taking the red matki and everything is more like anyone in anger would do. But even after Anjana instigates him, he still wants to confront Adi and wants to clear everything, it was again anjana who doesn't let them talk.

Now, the confrontation, what is interesting is he asks Zoya to look into his eyes...which means he really believes what he is saying, he already has the proof about that phone call. He does not know Aditya that well, he either knows it through Zoya or through Wasim.

Before leaving also he says 'ye dil ka mamla hai'...

Next day also, when he comes, it is because Wasim has called him, i don't think he is pursuing Zoya, it is all because of Wasim:)...

according to precap and spoilers, Adi confesses, Zoya would slap him, i think it is more because she is hurt and too scared of love and marriage...the only person who knows this is Arshad...not even Adi. Getting engaged to Arshad is only because of Wasim...

According to spoilers, Arshad is going to hit Adi,...again as Adi says, he is a doctor, he saves people not harm them...for me it is only to get a response from Zoya..after all he is a doctor...he has to cure his patient.

In the very first episode, he bought Zoya to Adi...he will do that :)

As far as expressions are concerned,...i would say it's just poor acting..:( with due respect to the actor

i would wait for the episodes to mean what Adi means by the wrong guy...it could easily be zoya not marrying 'for love'...

the fact that he wanted to heal people in riots, when he could have gone back (there was no one watching him) is what makes me think that he is positive. Secondly, eyes don't lie...

The thing is at this point he is against Adi, because he really believes that Adi is the culprit because of Anjana. He thinks that Zoya can't see the truth...the day he knows that Adi is not the culprit, or he understands Adi better, he will back out or take Zoya to Adi.

I like arshad too. he seems like such a sensible and decent person. he didn't have a meltdown when anjana told him that aditya is in love with zoya. he hasn't gone around and talked to waseem or zoya about it. his actual anger had to do with the idea of fairness and whether aditya was fighting fair. and as a doctor, he felt it highly wrong that someone's actions can place another in danger. even after zoya slapped him, he is so polite and walks away. he does not give lecture to zoya or give a return slap. he says that it is her prerogative to call it off if that is her wish.

and as a side note: like his linen jackets. they look great!

Arshad seems to be a decent guy and if anyone it was Adi's fault to view Arshad as a foe and someone who came between him and Zoya. For Adi to even say that he and Zoya are not an 'us'. They are still u n me. So what gave him the right to act like a total jerk without realising what Zoya feels? He got over the failure of his first marriage at jet speed when he realised he loves Zoya but why did he not stop to think if Zoya is in the same state of mind? Never for once did he think that Zoya is still hurt n unlike him it took a long time for her to accept Yash actually betrayed her. Adi had believed about PooSh the very first time he set his eyes on their entwined hands but Zoya held onto her belief to a point where even though Yash's own family had accepted their son had indulged in an EMA, Zoya did not share that view. Realising she failed as a friend she also realised what was missing in her life - friendship, since she did not have any friend till that point n she saw that in Adi. It will certainly come as a rude shock for her when she finds out Adi loves her though her reaction is not justified. Maybe not the slap but her decision to marry Arshad.

I donno if Arshad will be manipulated into believing whatever Anjana said but Adi so far gave him no reason to trust him. He has been messing around whenever he tries to talk to Zoya n anyone in his place would be annoyed. But pretending or not, if he beats Adi to an extent where he loses his consciousness it doesn't make any sense at all. Y would he do that? Even to make Zoya realise her feelings? That is way too extreme 😕
