Whatever with Zoya's Confession to Arshad?

Like whatever she told Arshad didn't have any effect on anybody later on? I m confused about the relationship status of Zoya n Arshad right now until she breaks all the ties on Monday

I mean, didn't she tell him on his face that she is never going to accept his proposal n didn't he agree to live forever with the memories of these 2 weeks (😆)? 😕 N I believe a night passed by after that before they all went to Hooda's place. So didn't they both tell their respective parents about this already? Why was he still being called hone wale daamad n his parents hone wale samdhi? Y is he still Zoya's honewale mangetar? Ok Anjana didn't know about their talk but why was he still ok being called as Zoya's fiance? N why is he trying to snatch her from Aditya now? She never said that she is refusing his proposal because she loves Adi so that he should expose Adi in front of her n win her...she has already told him clearly that she isn't interested in mohabbat itself, then how does it all should affect her decision according to Arshad? I couldn't see any after effects of Zoya's confession. I so wanted to hear from her all that she told Arshad, but it's like that has gone with the wind n they r back to Adi Vs Arshad trying to win trophy Zo. She'll break all the ties with Arshad on Monday, something will happen n again Arshad will get back in the race. Whatever Zoya told him in the restaurant had so much weightage, I hope now she speaks the same thing with someone who really understands that weightage, i.e. Adi n something in that regard happens in the story rather than this stupid competition spree.
