Both Alia and Katrina are managed by Matrix (Reshma Shetty's agency). Maybe after Alia's recent comment to the media that she would ask Katrina to like her pictures on IG, Reshma made sure Kat liked one of Alia's picture. I'm getting more and more convinced that even Katrina is on this pr charade. They still have to maintain the facade of being bffs and make it look like Alia never broke the girl code and Kat is ok with her dating her ex bf, hence Kat congratulating Alia on ig for Raazi's box office success and now this.

Well, Karan produce all types of movies and he is pretty influential in bollywood. There is no harm in being in Karan's good books. It can be a mutually beneficial arrangement for all parties involved.

There is a reason why Katrina at her peak did Chikni Chameli for free. And one of the reasons is because Karan promised a Dharma movie. A quick google search can verify this info.
