The other blind posted on the first page makes me think this is indeed another film. Thugs having Aamir makes more sense and this one could be Robot or Marnikanika really, who knows.

Since Brahmstra shooting is still not finished it can't be it. Though everything else fits. The only other movie that's been in the news this long is Robot2. There have been rumors of it having VFX issues and its potential release date has even changed a couple of times. I have no doubt that Aamir has kept a close eye on everything from day one so it's not Thug. Manikarnika is getting some negative buzz but I don't think this one has been in the news for years.

My guess is Robot2.

I didn't think of Manikarnika as mammoth until I heard the budget was 90cr +. So yeah, I think Manikarnika but could be 2.0.

While there is a tendency to believe any random blind, do people not even read it? There has been zero negative press about Thugs of Hindostan and Brahmastra. Even Manikarnika, it is pretty new.

I don't see any one giving an earful to a director like Shankar.

This blind sounds like some wannabe Rajeev Masand made up some stuff for clicks.
