Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Varun Dhawan,
Alia Bhatt and Anushka Sharma with
husband and India cricket team captain
Virat Kohli have contributed and done their
part for the thousands affected by the Kerala
Floods. Kangana Ranaut is the latest actress
to contribute to the CM Relief Fund for Kerala
Floods as she was shocked by all that was
happening in the city, which is touted as
'God's Own Country'. It was after a
discussion with her dad that Kangy
contributed to the relief fund.
Since Kangana was shooting night shifts,
she had been unable to sit down and
contribute to the cause. After a couple of
days, when she came to know that her
father had made a donation, she, too,
decided to make her contribution
immediately. "Kangana did the transaction
online, donating Rs 10 lakh for the CM Relief
Fund for Kerala Floods," a source informed.
This is indeed a thoughtful gesture by
Kangana, like the rest of the fraternity to
come together and help those affected in
such a gruesome time.
Talking about the same, Kangana shared, "I
want to urge to the people of this country
that in whichever capacity they can, they
should contribute, even a small amount will
make a difference to Kerala."
"To my people there, I want to say, the
whole nation is praying for them and
supports them. We feel their pain and sense
of loss. And by the grace of God, they will be
soon back to their glory. VANDE MATARAM,"
Kangana added.
