KKK is KIND OF A TRICKY CAREER here., as though a reasonably good actress with moderate success at boxoffice...

...BUT WAS/IS SHE WORTHY ENOUGH FOR ALL THE APPRECIATIONS and CONSISTENT CHANCES + people still considered her at top constantly despite of a string of flops for many years in between?

Do you think overall as a performer/actress/star she has been OVER-APPRECIATED ?

or you think otherwise ?

don't say that in this forum.
Here she is a sleeping Meryl Streep, she doesn't give performances after performance like Sophie's Choice because she is lazy, otherwise she would have already won 6 NAs beating the record of Shabana Azmi.

Shes a good actress you cant take tht away from her but her choices suck.

But more so love her personality shes a diva in the true sense.

I guess AMPLE OF SCREEN PRESENCE hide all of her shortcomings and made her sail through all of the rough weathers throughout her career...in other words she is BLESSED/LUCKY.

kareena is a good actress but nothing path breaking..she is like a succesful version of preity zinta..decent actress but nothing jaw dropping performance wise

there are actors who have at least one such performance..VB in TDP..kangana in Queen..Sri in EV..rani in black..PC in barfi..even an alia in UP..

but kareena doesn't have that..for me at least..yes there is a JWM..omkara etc but that is not path breaking..that is good acting but thats about it..

kareena has stuck way too much with her comfort zone..urban rom com precisely..and she does tend to overact at times when not in her comfort zone..she really over acted in heroine..precisely she is good..has a great presence..but she has never wowed me with her act..i doubt she can ever do a black or a jhilmil..

Agree, and if you notice, she has the SAME WAY OF ACTING/EMOTING that matches alot with her FATHER Randhir Kapoor.

JUMPY/HORSY sort of acting' style.

same way of making eyes bigger, same overly surprised expressions & reactions etc...

something for which Randhir has been criticized as a weak actor in yesteryears, but very interestingly the same format/type/style of acting which she inherited from Randhir has suited Kareena alot, very unlike her dad. maybe gender plays a difference in coming out differently even with the same range of emotions/little nuisances of performance.

She's overrated. She's not pretty. Looks like cheap version of Paris Hilton. Her acting is limited. She's made out to be some great actress because there is a lack of good actresses in Bollywood... simply, we take what's offered rather than the cream of the crop.

The thing about Begum is she can take a role, make it completely hers in a great way like JWM or a terrifyingly irritating way like Poo. She was so young when she did K3G and with established actors. But still Poo is memorable after all these years.

Her talent is mediocre or unused I am not sure, but as a diva actress, she excels.
