EXCLUSIVE: Not engagement, here's REAL REASON why Priyanka left Bharat - Page 6

@JF: I don't think Bharat is a flowerpot role firstly.
Flowerpot role is when a girl is made to play a dumb heroine whose job is to make stupid faces, look gorgeous and get in troubles so hero can save her.
In all of Ali's movies, non of the heroines were flowerpot pots, maybe Gunday didn't had anything great for Priyanka, but it was a bad movie over all.
But Dimple in MBDK, Arfa in Sultan and Zoya in TZH were all strong roles for any female even if there screen time was not as significant (I mean his last two movies).

Plus Priyanka used to say, no role is small.

Although I do think this role stuff is just speculation and not the real reason.

May be she was insecure of Disha Patani who is younger and popular with male audience . Since all theories are being thrown around why not this one too 😆

I honestly feel sorry for Ali. He is being pretty nice in public (all you need to do is compare this with how Madhur reacted in public after the Heroine fiasco) despite having to deal with comments about how the script sucks so PC walked out etc. I mean the makers of Race 2 threatened to sue DP when she wanted to walk out and made sure she does the film. Bharat could be a terrible film, PC might be a global icon who deserves great roles but this is just unbelievably unprofessional (even if the reason is marriage though it sounds weird cos she is still doing the other film). No one forced PC to sign the film at gun point. Am honestly surprised Ali is being this nice (unless the whole thing is a planned publicity stunt from both sides 😆).

Once Priyanka committed she should have stood by it. This is being unprofessional and problem creater. If she had issues with role then why did she sign it and more so why didn't she discuss and resolve? She has worked in multi starters before. Putting down the very industry which gave you fame and money is ungrateful. She isn't successful in HW , so why this attitude?

I completely agree! Ali has been understanding even if it was a show to avoid negative publicity. The least Pee Cee's
PR could do was show the same courtesy. They have to deal with the lead heroine walking out, throwing the entire schedule into a tizzy. Additionally dealing with bad publicity for the movie is something they would so not want.

wow m so happy pc doesn't need salman at this point in her career

The world moves on but BW remains just where it was. I have come to bw forum after almost a year and people still bash actresses for walking out of Khan movies.

The shooting did not begin and it seems her role was chopped down and she got a movie where she is playing a powerful central role rather than Salman's sidekick. If she decides she would rather do no 2 than one, why should she or any actress be beholden to this oldie heroes and the tharki producers.

And yeah, 2 min role in Baywatch ( which btw was not 2 min role, she was the lead villain) has more exposure than 2 min role in Salman khab movie
