and PC's engagement pic has beaten them all with above 4.3m

It's showing me 4.6m on Virat's account. And he's got 3 million less followers then PC. And 3.5m on Anushka with only 18m followers.

Yeah but they have flop movies to prove they don't pull an audience. It's the hits that justify PR teams to buy fake followers. I remember last year when I followed Alia and couldn't understand how someone with so many millions of followers only got a few thousand likes on twitter. That's actually how I learned about fake followers. It was too fishy. And after seeing Katy Perry's album flop it became clear Capitol records buys fake followers for all its artists. So I was happy when twitter started purging fake accounts 😆

I don't understand the obsession with Instagram followers/likes. Both fans and celebs who are obsessed with it need to take a chill pill imo. Sach toh ye hain ye race mein bhaag ke kuch nahi hoga. Movie dono ke pass nahi. Front runner Alia hain. Undisputed BW Queen right now.

This obsession for numbers I only see in BW and music fandoms.

First of all, Priyanka sponsors her posts. She is paying to advertise herself and get placed into people's discover sections and into their timelines even if they don't follow her. It's natural that it will bring more likes and followers eventually when you're outright paying for it. A big event like a wedding/engagement will also also boost followers. That is just expected. Deepika will also get a boost during her wedding. What's the big deal?

Secondly, there are much bigger stars with less followers. Social media followers don't gain celebrities anything valuable that actually matters.

competitive over Instagram followers😆 why...it doesnt mean anything in regards to success. alia will beat all of them in the time to come if she continues her gold run😆..because her fan base comprises of mostly of milllenials and young people who all use Instagram. that girls power over the youth is something else
