Yes, ever since the 1.5 year leap, they have been trying to attract new viewers while the better strategy is to work for its strength and regain lost viewers.

Colors is lagging behind SP in all time slots except 7:30 and 8:00 and that's because of lack of competition there, so singling Udaan doesn't make sense, it's still doing better than the shows from 9:00 till 10:30 are doing against their rivals.

The kids show strategy worked for Kulfi but not for Maryam Khan so not any kid's story will work.

Colors choices have been iffy for some time, BP and Silsila haven't worked and Roop is just ok, so removing the shows that have stable viewers is risky, they're better off replacing BP and Silsila.

Fans are different from regular viewers, KKB and YRRKH are prime examples, they have similar separation tracks as Udaan and their numbers are unbelievably high, viewers love to see the leads love-hate relationship.

The difference there is that the track and promotions revolve around the couple.

It's too early to call the track a flop, in the other shows TRPs started picking up when the hit and miss started but the problem is the makers are hedging their bets between Sukor and Anjor stories and instead of attracting two different groups of viewers may end up losing both.

That's why the next two week's TRPs will determine where the focus will be.

In kkb and yrkkh the reason for high trps is they are concentrating on the couples and the story revolves around the couple but in udaan it's not even concentrating on anjor they are only showing how imli is succeeding in everything and how everything happens according her wish.if they want to compete with kulfi they should not show gumli romance and evil winning all the time

Viewers are having two different kinds of serial at this time slot.if they show such cheap things in udaan even loyal viewers of udaan will switch to TMOKC or kulfi.

But they will proceed the track with anjor vs gumli only because as kulfi took time to gain trps colors may expect the same thing on udaan.

I expected more increase in trps

Star plus daily shows are having high trps while colors weekend shows are having good trps

Colors used to give serials that attracts rural audience and so they remained in top but now star plus are providing serials that attracts both rural and urban audience while colors losing the audience by showing revamp of every shows

Though Bp losing trps ,colors still promoting Bp in every possible way.

Udaan is definitely not facing any threat because above 2 trps is safe zone.

And there is IMMJ,Sinsila and BP to face problems first.

Because Channel will have more expectations because of so called popularity of few actors.

Otherwise the fate of these shows will be like Sanaya show Rangrasiya and that show was ended abruptly in 6 months because it can't able to improve ratings above 1.7 and with changes,it faced drop in ratings further.

With Udaan they keep on experimenting like this.

Don't know after 4 months,they will take another leap with grown up Anjor.

I'm sure they will try all possibilities to make it high in ratings.

Because show was taken leap even the time having good trps of 2.8 range last year and they like to experiment like this and with unexpected fall in ratings after 1.5 leap,the writing is become weak and unstable and that is the problem.

They are confused what to show,they are fearing to show positive stuff with Sukor and trying to bring positivity through Anjor and thinking to maintain negativity intact like 5 year leap and hoping to attract people.

Yes, the channel's philosophy is to experiment, if it works then TRPs will increase and if it fails, TRPs will eventually decrease and they can have generational leap or end it.

Even if this leap works, I don't see Sukor going on for long, they'll either kill them off and continue with Anjor or take a leap and show a grown up Saanvi. There is little to show after Sukorvi reunite.

Still the 1.5 year leap was a wrong decision, the show was doing well and at that time it was ahead of Kulfi; they could've explored the fight against hyar.
