Multiple films releases are not a problem only when both have different genre like the case here. Targetting the same set of the audience will always see business being divided.

For single day it is the biggest holiday. Sure it is not festive period like Eid or Christmas so that entire week or so gets benefit. But 15th Aug is national holiday. Many offices and places are working during Eid and Christmas but very few working on 15th Aug in comparsion.
