I might be the only one but the entry of Ishika's family has got me quite excited😛. They are all so deliciously evil it beggars belief. There may be flawed logic in my thinking but for me evil equals drama and I watch dramas ...wait for it ... for the drama. Oh and yeah drama often translates to trp too so there's that.
Besides from the outset it was clearly stated that this show would tackle social issues and challenge the patriarchal views of society and as lovely as Roop's family is having stories just revolving around one family only is fish bowl kinda confining and will not give as many opportunities to tackle the issues that need to be tackled. Anyway what show happens without the introduction of the leads' families? We've already seen Roop's and hate her as much as you like but Ishika is the female lead so it was inevitable we would have to meet her family too.

Also for me I watch this show for Shashank Vyas and his character Roop is the titular character so I know for a fact that no matter how many other characters get introduced this show will revolve around him and be driven by him so I am not particularly fussed who else they bring as he will be there in the centre always.

Yes Bea ..The best part is no matter how many characters come & go their story will revolve around roop only...
But I felt ishika's cousins casting could have been better ..So that we can enjoy their scenes as much as we enjoy shamsher roop scenes...

I feel the casting is good...shraddha in pulling out grey roles with ease...even the one who plays dhaval seems good...only the characters shouldn't be too loud...rest even I am enjoying the drama...it will be like giving various layers to the story...plus ishika's background may be clearly understood after the introduction of her family I feel...
As you mentioned , the good point here lies that roop will be connected to it in some way or the other...eager to see SV in action! Go boy!

Sub cast is there to explore the story...else leads have to shoot kinda daily more than 12hrs...they are just building both families of the leads...n involving them in both so the message they are trying to bring out is well recieved...
The producer clearly has a large scale plan for the show...

It's a big family...except for few others will be against roop and RooShika...
It will be good of the makers balance between the love track and the family drama...right now it's going good...

I actually thought the casting was really well done, couldn't fault it(yet). For now we only got a tiny glimpse into each character's nature but all of them managed to convey the quirks and traits of each character. The only one I've seen in another show is the aunt who is/was in Agnifera and there she was so sweet and loving and motherly and seeing her here as the mother in law from hell made me sit up and really note her acting skills. If you added the impressive entrance of these new guys entry to the sight of Shamsher sitting with an expectant smirk on his face and twirling his moustache then yesterday's episode was really good.

The new entries may add an intriguing factor in the show cos you don't know who will do what in the current situation...
Overall I feel excited for these new entries...hopefully the trps of the show increases due to it...

man i couldn't disagree more ...I found her family insufferable. I'll be forwarding their scenes very often...I can tolerate Shamsher's blackmailing for the sake of scenes with Roop's lovely mom and three lovely sisters any day but can't take Ishika's wanna 'Adam's family' members , for me the worst part of yesterday's episode was everything inside her house...seems like a house of horrors

It's an RS show, so get ready to witness such type of drama in the show...😉

Yeah... balance is the key...
Roop's dad is never a villain type compared to the new additions..
Also I liked ishika's mom n dad...
