Have Hirani and Ranbir signed a deal?

Sanju has succeeded in becoming one of the biggest films in Hindi cinema, already surpassing PK to become the third highest grossing Hindi film of all time. It has managed to maintain a steady rate at the box office, earning more than a few crores each week, despite being over a month old now. The biopic has not only renewed interest in Sanjay Dutt and his personal life, but has also catapulted Ranbir Kapoor to even higher levels of superstardom than before. All thanks to Rajkumar Hirani, who now has apparently signed a deal with Ranbir.

Ranbir and Hirani have signed a pact, wherein Ranbir will be a part of every Rajkumar Hirani film from now on. It may not necessarily be in the lead role, he could also be seen in a supporting role or a cameo (similar to his cameo in PK), or even just a photograph of the actor. It's like how Boman Irani can be seen in every Hirani movie.

This should be pretty big news for Ranbir Kapoor fans, since they now know which film to expect Ranbir to be a part of. Currently, Ranbir is working on Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, opposite rumoured girlfriend Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan, for which the trio were recently shooting in Bulgaria. The movie releases in theatres on August 15, 2019.
