Ritwik - He values his family and friends. Coming to marriage and love he didn't believe in love and as they say one who resists it falls worst.He has reasons from the past for not believing in love. I think he believes in love and always needed it. Be it from his mom,dad, step mom etc.Why u keep others happy? To gain their love. Since the day his mom left he is broken from inside.He misses her even now. Tat part of his heart was never healed.After tat he always stood as a pillar for his family and dad and guarded them in each and every situation. He doesn't want others to go thru what he has gone through.He doesn't want to hurt them. In return he was showered with all the love of family. He entered into many relationships only to assert his belief tat love doesn't exist.And all his gf affirmed his opinion. They were either interested in his luxury and class or in his charms and good looks.And this was the time when Palak entered his life. She was not awe struck by his charms or class. She was involved with him only professionally. But after the Jaipur trip he came to know tat Palak was not like his former gfs and she was genuine in each and every thing she does. This was his first inclination towards her. With more time spending he was more attracted towards her.But he was in constant denial.After clearing the misunderstandings also he is unable to identify his new found feelings. Tats y he always look confused when she is around. One thing he is sure. He is loving her presence and yearns for it.When he was about to lose her he had a whirlwind of emotions going their him be it realisation, denial , scare of losing someone u love and in tat flow he kissed her. But now what ? That is the question in front of him?He has still not sorted his own feelings for her . He doesn't know whether she loves him truly or the kiss was just a flow of moment' for her . He knows Palak is not tat type of girl. Tats y he claims himself responsible for the kiss and the mess created. He is so engrossed in himself tat he can't see tat the girl whom he kissed out of love loves him deeply. He is somewhat similar to Saif Ali Khan of Hum Tum.He has never considered himself ideal or worth for Palak. In the party also he said tat guy won't suit her coz he is more of Casanova or himself type. First thing Ritwik should have is the realisation and depth of his newly developed feelings as Love. After that he should talk with Palak about it . I hope his realisation comes way before the wedding coz Delay is the deadliest form of denial.
Coming to Ananya I understand she knows Ritwik from childhood but why the hell is she assuming tat he will never fall in love. Her assumptions and overconfidence are going to hurt her badly. How come she can marry a man whom she knows can never fall in love.Foundation of marriage itself is trust and love from both sides. She is being more practical in thinking tat her love is sufficient for their relationship.Wont she yearn for his love after marriage?What is the difference btw Reeva and her? I know Reeva knew about Samar is in love with tat girl but Ananya also assuming tat Ritwik can never fall in love. I know Ananya is more sensible than Reeva but both the girls are in their own world .
