Don't know why but I feel that VO Naina had that realization... But did 18 year old Naina had that?? None of her dialogues or actions seems to convey that she is at all worried about Sameer. Yes she had few FB while talking to Sharad but for me that was not enough.

Now only exact meaning of separation from Sameer is sinking in Naina's mind. If we notice immediately after talking to Shefali Naina went and broke up with Sameer. That means her decision was impulsive without proper thinking of its consequences. Typical for a teenager of those times. After that she was trying her level best to stick to her decision. She is not aware of the situation of Sameer. She may be under the impression that Sameer may have moved on. That's is why when she heard from Munna that sameer is still stuck at same position where she left him, she called immediately asking him through songs to forget her. Even though Naina is believing and behaving that she can live without Sameer but she is not able to live even a single second without his memory.
Now when a prospective groom is sitting in front of her she is realizing the side effects of her decision. But right now she is lifeless. Words of her father and helplessness of Anand and Bela has taken the life out of her. She is slowly realizing that in this house how much she try no one can help achieve her dreams. For them she is just a burden.
Let's see how she is responding to all these. For that she has to come out of that numb state. Then only she can bring Sameer out of the Baba mode. She has to literally become the Menaka of viswaputhra'(credit to Munna)

I was indeed happy to hear the realization from Naina's VO. The chachi-Naina-Preeti convo, the lifelessness in her eyes had all the pain of hurting Sameer.

And Naina indeed was reminded only of Sameer in those 10 minutes with Sharad. Sooner she reacts, the better because Sameer also needs to be brought back to life before it gets late.

This was the moment when Naina could feel the actual meaning of being away from Sameer, meaning of removing him from her life.

She did decide herself that Sameer will be no more in her life as she can't stand up against her family. But she did not understand the impact of it actually, until the moment she was alone with another man as a prospective groom.That the meaning may turn out to spend all her life with another man at the wish of family!

That mere 10 minutes with another man was like unbearable 10 deaths to her... every moments reminded her of Sameer, their loving moments. She couldn't bear those 10 minutes... How could she accept that she could bear it all through her life to spend with another man!

No, no that is not possible for her. She is not gonna make it. She surely can't let it proceed further.👎🏼

Her realization starts here...And her breakdown is on the way...
