Nia Sharma on IMM : I decided to take up this role almost overnight

Nia Sharma recently entered the show Ishq Mein Marjawan which stars Arjun Bijlani and Alisha Panwar in the lead roles. Before that, Nia has been a part of several TV shows namely Jamai Raja and Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai.

During an interaction with Hindustan Times, Nia was asked about what drew her towards Ishq Mein Marjawan. To which she stated, "I decided to take up this role almost overnight. I met the producers and the role they offered was fantastic. The next day we started shooting promos, and within a few days, I was on air. I was happy that I wasn't replacing anybody or doing a cameo, instead, it is a full-fledged lead. What I love about this project is that the producers were very particular about wanting me in the show, and that felt nice. Usually, when you sign a show, it takes two to three months to set up and cast others and if you are lucky, in six months, your show is on air. But this was the quickest I have ever gone from signing the show to it going on air (laughs)."

Nia also spoke about her current headspace. She said, "My only concern is to do performance-oriented roles. Looking good on screen or being an eye candy in a show isn't that important and I realised that after Jamai Raja. I have refused huge amounts of money, turned down daily soaps, and music and reality shows because I was unhappy with the offers. I have sacrificed a lot (of money) and though the decision was tough, at times. I knew what I wanted to do and stood by my decision. After the love I got for my role in Jamai Raja, I knew I wanted to take that forward and create a brand for myself. Maybe I can make a lot of money doing shows where I hardly do anything substantial, but that is not my goal in life. It is not an easy decision to make but I have taken it."

🤣🤣 She didn't replace anyone😲 Creating brand of her own NEVER happens byy taking up another actors role midway Nia is so delusional 😆 Only by end of this show we and she will knoww the fate of her role😆 It is very clear Colors & producers badly wanted to insert Nia in IMMJ somehow, what's the ulterior motive only time will tell😆

This article is funniest thing i read today🤣🤣how can she say that she is not replacing anyone 😲alisha worked 1 year on arohi and tara role and nia has been given the role of arohi which belonged to alisha..no one will remember her in end of show as arohi..people will remember alisha playing two roles

I guess she means replacing matlab like Aalisha quit and she took the role so since Aalisha is still playing Tara, Nia doesn't think anyone is replaced. And why did the CVs take this decision overnight? I am not watching the show toh mujhe pata nahi but is Nia is really playing Arohi, then I guess the CVs had no respect for her hard work. Also, I really think now ki show is going off air, usually when show ends every character in the show ends being a couple and all happy happy. Ab Viraat ki bi aagyi hai toh bas khatam kar hi do.

First of all I neever bashed Nia or said anything bad about her on this forum or anywhere till date though I never liked her dressing sense not even a bit I always felt disgusted but I always thought she is a good n talented actress. But, if this article is true then I can't help but say this bitter truth that

Yes she did not replace. By not replaced she meant after the actor who played left the show she has not taken it yes nothing like that happened then HOW did she get the role. Well now since there must be a way of getting it majbhooran we have to call it another way which suits it well. THAT SHE SNATCHED IT FROM THE PREV ACTOR WHO PLAYED IT. Well we can't blame her alone cs it seems the most DUMB N UNGRATEFUL creatives on earth were literary DYING TO OFFER THIS ROLE TO NIA as she said it clearly.

And one more thing while reading what I felt was there were a lot of BRAGS everywhere from the start to end nothing but BOASTING is obvious.

Expected some maturity from her. Disapponting.

But thilss and priya if that is case then still she replaced alisha role it was her character..arohi didnt belonged to her anyway she came mid way..this is worst case of replacement that alisha given negative role and cvs snatched her postive role and given to nia..how desperate was cvs and channel to sign her 🥱
