I did 'Race 3' for the money: Anil Kapoor

Anil Kapoor is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming film 'Fanney Khan'. Directed by Atul Manjrekar, the film also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao.

The actor was last seen in the action-thriller 'Race 3'. Directed by Remo D'Souza, the film had an ensemble cast of Salman Khan, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah and Saqeeb Salim.

Anil Kapoor was the only actor to reprise his role in 'Race 3'. Talking about why he signed 'Race 3' and he joked, "For the money."

Kapoor added, "Whenever I sign a film, I obviously think of the amount of money that it will fetch me. Acting is my profession, it earns me my daily bread and butter. If I do not give importance to earning enough money, how will I run my kitchen? My wife will never allow me into the house if I do not earn money, so it's important to me."

He is at the retirement age. Perhaps his wife should not let her nalayak son into the house or kitchen until he earns some money instead of depending on her husband. She has raised independent daughters and a a lazy son. Perhaps she pampered him ? Cutting off his allowance and actually making him pay rent, groceries, gas for his car might do wonders to teach him money basics.

He asked his father to keep working and doing commercial movies so that he can do his kind of movies. His words 😆

Even the daughters are dependent on his money to run the production house.

Why do everyone blame only Harshbardhan? Dont the daughters have any duty towards their parents? If they are such independent women, why cant they ask their father to retire and take care of his expenses?

Its pity that a star of your stature in a career span of over 30 years could never earn enough for your bread & butter 😆

Sonam took the best decision of her life of marrying a billionaire for fear of starving out of financial insecurity 🤢

Nobody wants to work for free. He's just being honest that you do certain jobs for the paycheck.

The guy is in very good health so why should he retire and sit at home like an old man? Why are people worried about his retirement? 😆 Amitabh is 14 years older and still working.

Well according to Sonam she has been independent since her teens. She is also a face of international campaigns for a decade that she probably made money in Euros or dollars which is a lot more than rupees when converted. She made enough to buy herself a house in Mumbai though she lived with her parents. Plus she acted in other's movies not just her home production so must have been paid something. Rhea too must have bought some property. They are also very savvy and know how to be frugal/get things done on a budget. For VDW they did so many product placements while it was annoying to watch made financial sense. But the production value was very, very good. Designer clothes, very nice cars, nice houses. Dressing four women nicely could be a budget buster, but you could not complain about them pretending to berich end and skimping on decor, clothes, fashion etc.

They probably learned that from their mom who has very good taste. VDW also made money. Where did Harsh make money ? If he did, it is a pittance. How much would ROM paid for his debut movie that took years and Motwane for Bhavesh that made 1,5 crores BO ? So Sonam and Rhea are earning money, their father is not just supporting them blindly while Harsh is a burden. Just sits, talks about movies Thinks he is all that, trashes his father's movies and sits and eats aaram se without making much of a contribution.
