Annika dragged herself from the mandir...Tears rolling down her eyes...
"Puure duniya ke saamne tum Shivaay singh Oberoi ke Rakhel kehlaoge..."

Annika screamed with all the pain and frustration she was feeling...
Crying hard she sat down on the divider in the road...
"Mein kabhi tumhe biwi ke darja nahi dunga..."
"Vasundhara Trivedi...your mother ran away to be a mistress of rich man, named Kamlesh... How will Gauri feel when she comes to know her mother is alive and living somewhere as a 'Rakhel'!"
Annika:"All my life...ALL MY LIFE i was judged and tried for what you are more than what I did...All my life I tried to step out of the shame you brought us...but it seems it will forever follow me...until the day I die..."
Annika:"I HATE YOU VASUNDHARA TRIVEDI...I WISH YOU WERE DEAD...I WISH I HAD DIED BEFORE TAKING BIRTH FROM A WOMAN LIKE YOU ..."

Annika:"I HATE YOU SHIVAAY SINGH OBEROI...I HATE YOU FOR MAKING ME FEEL THIS WAY...FOR MAKING ME FEEL SO USED...FOR MAKING ME HATE THE INSTITUTION OF MARRIAGE...FOR MAKING ME HATE MYSELF...AND I SWEAR I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO ME..."
Annika might have sat there for hours... slowly her tears subsided...she walked towards her house...
As she entered she saw her little sister...her Gauri sitting on the floor by the door with her phone in her hand obviously waiting for her...And had fallen asleep in that pose...
Annika ran her fingers through her little sister's head protectively...
Her Gauri was worth every sacrifice she made... For Annika , Nothing was important than her Gauri...
Gauri jumped up abruptly to see her sister...
Gauri:"Jiji...you scared me...where were you...?batayiye aap kaha the...Aapko uss Mr.Oberoi ne aise he uttake legaya aur mein Dar he gayi thi...kisi ne mujhe apke phone se bulake bola ki lal chaukk ke shiv mandir mein Ane ko..."
She asked concerned seeing Annika looking worn out...
Annika hugged her little sister hard and kissed her forehead...her hands clasped around the beads of the broken mangalsutra...
Annika:"Gauri relax...I'm fine...see...mein kal Prinku ke hospital mein gayi thi Shivaay ke saath...woh prinku ka accident huvi thi aur hospitalize kiya tha..."
Annika:"aur mera phone mein vaha bhool gayi hogi shayad...kisi ne leliya hoga...tumhe kya zaroori thi mandir jaane ki...aise kisi bhi call mila tho kabhi nahi jaathe..."
Gauri hugged her sister hard And cried in relief...
Annika:"Hey...hey ro math...mein hoon na...sab teek hojayega..."
Chachi:"Oh hello madam...saare raath aiyashi karke subah muh uttake chali ayi...sharam naam ke cheez hein tujhme...?puure mohalle ke samne apne izaath ke faluda banake tasaali nahi mili...tum na bilkul apne m..."
Annika:"BAS...EK AUR SABD BOLA NA THO MUJHSE BURA AUR KOI NAHI HOGA...bohot hogaya apka...abb mein yeh aur bardash nahi karungi..."
Chachi:"Itna sab kuch hone ke baad bhi tumhari ghamand tho dekho...Shameless girl...kisi aur ladki ke saath aisa hothi tho voh khudkhushi karthi...par nahi..."
Chachi:"you know what, I made a grave mistake taking you in...tabhi se meri shanidesha shuru huvi..."
Annika:"Gauri...jaldi apne bags pack karo...we are leaving..."
Gauri:"Par jiji..."
Annika:"Gauri...meine kaha na...pack your bags...we are leaving..."
Gauri:"Par kaha..."
Annika:"Trust me chutki..."
Gauri nodded and went inside to pack her bags...
Chachi:"Tum kahi nahi ja sakthi..."
She said tensed...what will happen to her if Annika leaves...she hadn't expected this to happen...she had thought that Annika would take every crap fest she threw at her silently...no...no...she didn't want Annika to leave...
Annika had already got Sahil's admission in a boarding school with her first salary from Oberoi mansion...So it was she who would suffer if Annika left...
Chachi:"I didn't mean that Annika...I was just saying all this out of my concern for you...don't take it personally..."
Annika:"Thank you so much Chachi for taking us in and milking it's worth with pound of my flesh. ...we will forever be indebted to you...And your care, concern and love for us was always heartwarming..."
She said sarcastically...
Chachi:"Agar tum chali gayi tho mera kya hoga..."
She asked worried...
Annika:"Arey hoga kya...You can go work..earn some money and take care of yourself...oh wait you can run that dosa stall...I'm very open hearted..."
Chachi:"Annika...aise math bol betta..."
She said holding Annika by her arms...
Annika crossed her arms and stood uninterested...Knowing Chachi would do everything she could to avoid working...
Well news flash...she was done being a pushover...
Gauri:"Jiji..."
Annika pushed away chachi's hand and smiled reassuringly at Gauri...
Annika turned with a smile towards Chachi...
Annika:"Apna he ghar samjna isko...agle mahine ka rent dena math bhoolna...I'm done slaving for you..."
Taking the luggage from her hand they walked out of the house...
She was a broken angel...who was hurt ,humiliated and beaten...But as she moved out she promised herself something...
This pain would also pass some day...And she would find the light in the end of the dark tunnel...
If not for herself...then at least for her sister...
And she would rise from the ashes like a Phoenix...stronger than ever...And then there will be Nothing that will have the power to hurt her anymore...
Because she had been through the worse and still found the courage to fight... And then she would realize that She didn't need the name of a man or a marriage to him to give her what she desired of life...she would make herself an identity that doesn't need the backing of any man...
