Anurag Kashyap's much-anticipated project Manmarziyan is now releasing on a new date. Film critic and trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, confirmed the news on Twitter, writing, "#Manmarziyaan gets a new release date... Was slated for release on 21 Sept 2018... Will now release one week earlier: 14 Sept 2018... Stars Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal... Directed by Anurag Kashyap... Eros International and Aanand L Rai presentation."

It goes without saying that the makers wanted to avoid a clash with Shree Narayan Singh's Batti Gul Meter Chalu' starring Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.The shooting has taken place in Delhi, Punjab and a snowfall sequence between Abhishek and Taapsee will be shot in Kashmir. The multi-starrer film which has Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles will now be releasing on 14th September, which is a week before its previous release date.
