There's nothing to his side of the story apart from what has been shown; he didn't trust or allow naira to explain just like swarna.

He assumed naira left the house instead of paying respect to shubham during his last rites, when in actual she fell from the terrace waiting for him and was in hospital.

He didn't bother finding out where she was or calling her, and because swarna was in a bad state at that time and said to karthik that she will never forgive naira.. naira isn't allowed back in the house again, blah blah blah, without a word he listened to swarna and even let her kick naira out of the house without listening to her, then to fulfill all of swarna's wishes out of sympathy for her having lost her real son, he didn't mention naira's name or keep in contact with her for two years, and now he is acting rudely with naira out of ego because she gave him a divorce, thinking that she is the one who wants to move on and ultimately blames her for the braking of the marriage without even seeing his own mistakes, and without having actually asked her or permitted her to tell her side of the story in regards to his accusations he made about shubham's death.

That's all there is to karthik's behaviour, and no other underlying reason.
