I agree...they need to cut short some scenes instead of dragging it unnecessarily...for instance the RooShika scenes in the beginning...it was pretty good, but they dragged it...it loses the essence...especially roop's staring session needs to be cutt off a bit...it looks awkward at points...

For me in the UK when i watch it tv, we had the father and son talk and both defeated to what each is saying (and the way it was done, it sounded like the scene was over anyhow), and then preview of what the next scene is, then advert and then when the episode came back, it showed the morning with Roop in his room.

Also i can we need to use our imagination that after the talk, Roop walked away instead of talking to his dad, he probably went to eat, and then went to bed, and in the morning he is getting ready for college. Basically 😉

Also its another way of keeping this tension & distance between father and son going on through the episodes, its not gonna be solved in one episode, so hence cut scenes like that
