The show begins with Arpita a beautiful young Bengali housewife being brought by her husband Shubhankar to meet her InLaws

Arpita soon starts getting labour pains and delivers a girl
Shantanu is very happy to get a play mate n names her puchki
Shantanu takes tiny baby puchki in his arms and thanks Durga ma for fulfilling his wishes
