What do you expect from the show?

Many members are still following/watching the show in spite of disagreeing with the theme, which was very clear from the beginning. So, my first question is:

A somewhat nuanced story about fundamentally decent people. Which is what this show isn't doing. Affairs happen, of course, but they leave destruction in their wake.

The male protagonist is horrendous. Kunal is coming off as a MAJOR creep. He's gone from 0-100 so fast. He's creeping on the unaware Nandini and it does not matter to him if his wife is around. Staring at her in a rearview mirror, being violent with a stranger who is dancing with Nandini.

Frankly, both Mauli and Nandini deserve better than weak and selfish men.

They should not present 'lust' as 'love'. Kunal is a lusty pig, not some aashiq. If this show is about Nandini's journey, she should not fall for kunal, otherwise this should be Mauli's journey- A life beyond marriage. Woman can exist/survive without man.

I would have given the show a chance inspite of not liking the theme, had they shown natural progression with some deep routed feelings. But the show lost it for me with the way they showed Kunal falling for Nandini. Kunal's character never impressed me much, and after his feelings for Nandini which sometime come across as creepy, I don't have any hopes from him. I am still following the show, the main reason being Nandini and Mouli. I really really hope they don't butcher Nandini's character like they did with Kunal. I will probably quit the show the day they do it. Lastly, Mouli's character has grown upon me with time, so I would like to see what's her fate. I will like to see her NOT continuing her relationship with Kunal after she realizes that he has feelings for some other woman, because their relationship will never be the same again. In some other show that I watched, the writers did horribly wrong with the original wife, so I hope it won't be the case here. I would like to see her walking away with her head held high!

may be CVs giving us impression that Kunal will end with Nandini but I think Kunal will not end with Nandini . Nandini will end up with maanas

Kind of glad to see this post! I came into the show with the expectation of infidelity!

But I have to say that so far, I think I can understand Kunal's POV! I don't agree that he's creepy! Rajdeep is a creep! Kunal is a good guy who's maybe doing something wrong!

And as far as Kunal is concerned, he's attracted to Nandini; which is a normal hormonal reaction! People who are dating each other/ are married to other people do find other people atttacive! So far, Kunal has not given me the impression that he's lusting after Nandini. His feelings as I watched last nights episode was more of protection and the need to have her safe! He's not in love with her nor is he in lust with her!

I think as the person who's seen nandini at the lowest point of her life, those feelings of protectiveness are normal. And yes, Mauli is great, but she's been missing from Nandini's life for 7 years ( not her fault of course, but it's the facts) and she never really experienced what Kunal did.

I'm not condoning cheating on your husband or on your wife, but until we get more information as to where this show is going, we can't really make an assumption!!

Yes. We'll be seeing jealousy from Kunal in the future, I'm looking forward to seeing how he handles himself.


What I want to see in the future:

1. Infidelity is a sad fact of life, and I want the show to be realistic when portraying this!
2. I want guilt and remorse from both Kunal and Nandini- to be fair, Kunal does feel remorse for thinking about nandini. And he tries to avoid it but you can't control all your thoughts.
3. I want Mouli to be independent. And strong! * kunals family will stand by her. I know this for a fact. They won't support kunal *
4. I want kunal and nandini's relationship to progress slowly and gradually! I want the feelings to seem natural and not forced.
5. I want nandini to be strong and independent too!

Just hoping they don't turn Mauli negative or kill her for this so called love story.
