Next time Salim Khan can follow the same steps as Salman's career also is drowning after Race 3's disastrous performance on the box office. 👍🏼

Am sure Ranbir enjoys some of it(like when he trashed the KWK episode) but dislikes it when he burns bridges (like trashing Anurag)😆

I feel exactly the same way too!!! If you haven't then you should see the clip on YT where he's watching the Sanju trailer & he had tears in his eyes. I really feel like he's not only obsessed with his son's career, he's also amazingly proud of his son & quite loves him.

I don't feel Rishi was unjustified in ranting about what Anurag Basu and Pritam. Height of unprofessionalism. Who does not operate without a script, just winging it ? Who does not look at budget ? Who delivers songs in the nick of time. As a father and perhaps shadow producer, Rishi had every right to call them out. He is not just a father, but an actor and the son of a father who went bankrupt because of a bloated budget and dream of Mera Naam Joker.
Pritam and Anurag were unprofessional and needed to be called out.

That's exactly how Barfi was shot too (without a proper script) and since it worked, no one whined. It's not like everyone involved was caught off guard. And Ranbir mismanaged his schedule by signing 100 films and shooting all of them at the same time. Yes it was Anurag's fault but it's not like Ranbir was blameless. As a producer, he should have managed it better too cos none of Basu's earlier films were as mismanaged as JJ. And it's extremely unprofessional to trash a director in public that way post release. Since it's Basu and he likes RK, he dint lash out in return and continues to praise him. I honestly believe he is one of the best directors Ranbir has worked with.

Of course Rishi loves his son. They had difficult times growing up but then that's the baggage of stardom. Actors routinely have affairs and heartbreaks and neglect their families and all of that leads to an unhealthy home environment.
Neetu Singh mentioned that she talked about her marital problems to a baby Ranbir. Does anyone in their right mind think that's a good idea? Kids do not have the emotional maturity to handle that and face trauma as a result.
In this case I think Rishi is still the better of the two. He tried to defend his son albeit in his own clumsy way. Neetu Singh is the one who probably poisoned his mind against his father and used him as a weapon.
Compare the interviews of the two-she even said Ranbir had tried to drown one of their maids.

Well if Rishi did then surely he loves and cares for his son that despite being an egoistic male he still did it.
Other father's support their son's wrong deeds too- Sunil Dutt and Salim Khan. In that context Rishi simply wished for good movie for good son.
