I can't seem to find any topics on this, nor can i see any other forum for this.. oh well 😊

I went to watch this yesterday, fun movie, ali was awesome, very much enjoyed it from start to finish.

any info on the box office side of things?

Watched it day before yesterday. My rating 1.5/10

Turned out lamer than Race 3 in terms of dialogues. Ali zafar was extremely over the top in most of the scenes. Punjabi accent was forced. Maya Ali can't act at all. Don't get the hype aroundt her at all.

It was unnecessarily stretched before and after interval. Plus that women should have a choice to make her own decisions dialogue was just randomly inserted in the end. By her own choice, she fled away on the marriage day, traveled all the way to Lahore with an unrealistic reason and then complained when got in to trouble.

Very few scenes were funny.Completey borefest

I think its first time that a muvi is made on such a big scale in Pakistan.. that's y the hype.. Plus Ali Zafar is known name who was successful in Bollywood.. If Ali can get this hype then I think Fawad's Maula Jutt will be bigger..
I watched this Sajna Door song from the muvi and really liked the cinematography.. But other than that the Item no. song was lame and the concept also seems the same old..

Haven't watched many Pakistani muvis.. just watched some recent muvi trailers.. so not sure about Waar..
Out of the recent ones, this seems like a perfect masala muvi for entire family viewing.. also it is shot well with good production quality.. as opposed to the other trailers that I saw, which were trying too hard to be like Bolly muvis..

it is like a bollywood movie, the production, the direction the songs etc Pakistan really have come along long way in the past couple of years when it comes to movies
