The first two minutes were dedicated to the recap...and this time they included S1 in that too. This time the recap wasn't boring...the sharp editing and nicely written voice-over made the recap interesting. And i also noticed the difference in Dev's look in both season...i know Dev is 50x heartbroken and troubled is S2...but it would be nice if he gets a haircut and trims his beard.
In the first scene, Mehek's dialogues were simple but full of meaning...especially "meri shawl mujhe lauta dena Dev". It shows that Mehek is a highly possessive and insecure person.
Next morning, Dev ponders over Zohra Aapa's words and Mehek suspicious behaviour. He gets hold of her phone and manages to unlock it by guessing her password "madhubala". He listens to the messages sent by the b*mber and then confronts Mehek...but Mehek being Mehek doesn't tell him anything, rather she uses the 'trust' card. Look who's talking about trust...Mehek aka the backstabber 😳 Zohra Aapa overheard their conversation...there has to be some significance of that.
Dev then calls Narvekar and tells him about the various clues he has found in the footage and with "aik ho toh itefaq, aik se zyada toh saazish"...he manages to convince Narvekar to do what he says.
Narvekar goes to the hospital to get Aarti and Arjun's social media passwords and orders Tambe to increase the security and keep an eye on every activity of Aarti.
Mehek gets out of the house and the informer follows her but she cleverly manages to fool him. But the officer tracks Mehek's location and the informer heads to that place. [I noticed a continuity blooper in this scene...she sat in a different car and reached the parlour in a different car]
On Dev's instruction, with the help of RTO, they manage to find two white cars of the same model which were stolen in the past 5 years...one of the cars belongs to a minister, so Dhwani and Narvekar visit the house of the owner of the second missing car...and there they get to know that the owner Sonu Verma is also missing from 1.5 years. Dhwani takes charge of checking out Sonu's laptop, his social media accounts, bank statements etc. and in the process she finds Arjun and Sonu together in two group pictures. Sonu's wife tells her that this picture is clicked in a Japanese Restaurant named Oriental Restaurant.
After getting this information, Dhwani rushes to that restaurant but before she could find it...she spots her dad's car there and she sees Mehek getting out of that car. She manages to stop her dad's car and asks her dad about Mehek...and kharoos and badtameez Mr. Karchiwala tells her to get out of the car. Now this is the twist which Jigs mentioned in one of her PC interviews...either her dad also works for Muneem or Mehek is blackmailing him. Let's see if Dhwani shares this information with Dev or not.
As per the precap...Dev, Dhwani and Narvekar continue their investigation...Dhwani will probably get the address of the third person Santosh Kulkarni from that restaurant and when she will reach that place...someone will kidnap her. Let's see if she manages to save herself on her own...or again someone comes to her rescue. And that b*mber again gives a package to Mehek...but this time it contains a cassette player...so probably the b*mber also knows that Dev has taken Mehek's phone from her.
Usually the case gets over on Monday...but this time two cases are linked, that's why it's taking so much time...but i still hope somehow both these cases get over tomorrow.
