SurbhiC got to play yet another character. Was liveliness a way to distract Shivay or version 1 ka bhoot ghuss gaya, its not known. Well I don't mind. Individually her scenes were fun.
Ghunghat uthane ke liye kahenge toh pakka nahi karenge. He doesn't like to be told, instructed.
But with Anika there was always an exception, knowingly or not.
Handle nahi kar payenge meri beauty.
Sc and Nm's comic timing in relation to each other was pretty good. Loved his expression too showing a sense of familiarity seeing her eyes in spite of them being spectacled, followed by his doubt that it may not be whom he is thinking when he sees the mole, and absolute bafflement seeing her teeth.
Loved how later she backtracked in reverse as he called out to her.
Loved how she was almost mentally cursing her Khanna Bhaiyya for helping out with the mirror and Shivay was like ...Toh??...His hand gesturing a "Okay get done with this crap.
I liked the rosebud wala scene. Before that, want to know what did Shivay say after the coat pe rose lagana, mei yehan halwayan ke saath...what was after that? Wasn't too clear. Well is it an attempt at symbolism that she will always be around to restore or be the roses in his life and prevent it from withering out.
But it looked cute how almost by reflex she waves out a bye to him or was it a mental check to herself ki aafat( cos she is at risk if he is around her) is gone, now focus!!!
In instances I did find Sanno laugh a little too often and hence overkill, but yeah, rest was good. SC was totally good.

On a side note...
I was also wondering with forthcoming Shivika shadi, how the cufflink will play a role. Shivay getting to know of it doesn't prove D to be the molester. Yes, it does prove, Anika was there at Payal's house. It doesn't prove D being in India one day earlier.
No one else knows about it. Like last time Sumo cleared his doubt whereas now no one is aware of it. If he directly asks her, given the premise of the wedding, I don't think she will answer him straight. She won't ask him how it matters. He won't be upfront and say it belongs to him.
His aversion (temporarily) is based on belief that she is the kind who is money-minded and focuses on baiting a big catch (plus the state his sis will be in). Wonder if they have thought it over.
I guess am ready for after shadi scenes. Saw the segments, drama, coma, rona-dhona, sab seems boring.
