I personally am a big fan of the 'psychological thriller' genre. However, its a sorry affair that BW does not go on to make much films of this particular genre and the few made have not been received well either.
I have seen the following from BW and really liked them
Drishyam
Kartik Calling Kartik
Deewangi

Haven't had the opportunity to watch Being Cyrus, No Smoking yet. Has anyone seen these?

Which other movies from this genre would you suggest?

PS - BW needs to experiment more on these lines. The audiences today might like such movies.

I indeed have seen Phobia. Missed it in the topic. It was a good movie. Radhika Apte was really good. And the climax is amazing.
Have heard about Kaun . Planning to watch it.
Honestly not heard about 404 error not found.

Guess why dont we make more of these?

Recently I watched Talaash.. it's decent.

Ek Hasina Thi is also a very good thriller movie..

But I don't think these movies are psychological..

Yes Talash was decent but not sure if its psychological.
Urmila seems have done quite a lot of such thrillers. I would recommend Deewangi also starring Ajay Devgn and Akshaye Khanna . It was based on Multiple Personality Disorder . Im not sure BW has explored this aspect much.

Ek hasina thi is indeed a psychological thriller. The protagonist loses her sanity for revenge and in the end..just doesnt want to settle score..but chooses a way to give him a death no one can even imagine and so painful...tht reflects her state of mind.

Urmila was amazing...too bad this movie is so underrated

^^ All the psychological thrillers are indeed underrated. Hence you dont see this genre at all these days.
And Urmila seems to have done the most of such movies...Ek Hasina Thi, Kaun, Deewangi.
Ive heard lot of praises for No Smoking and Being Cyrus as well.

Why are there no decent thrillers coming out of Bollywood?

Just finished watching Knives Out (for maybe the third time), and it’s just so brilliantly constructed — sharp writing, layered characters, and...
