TRP 3.1, back to number two show of ZeeTV.

Kumkum Bhagya BARC impression sees a mega increase 6779 [3.08TRP] from5915 [2.68TRP], this week in Urban chart. Show maintain in TOP 5 position in Overall and back again in TOP 5, Urban chart but still out of TOP 5 Rural chart. BARC overall impression sees a impressive increase of 11173 [5.1TRP] from 9903.

Episodes reviews - Abhi back to Mehra Mansion. Aliya insults Purab-Disha badly and tells them to leave Mehra Mansion. Abhi comes and makes a decision. Abhi too decide to leave along with Purab and later the entire family follows. Aliya pacify Abhi and apologizes to Disha. Everyone is happy and Aliya confronts Disha. Kaira comes in the Mehra Mansion. Tanu is wanting to punish Kiara and all set to take the revenge from Kaira.

Without any promo show does well this week.

Below was my post made last week in another thread on forum in response to a discussion on episodic content and Indian viewers response and fans online feedback..makes it relevant to re-produce it here in this thread..

Still feel ratings may not fall so drastically for KKB on BARC charts.. it may still be in top 10 list for few mths, even if not in top 5...now how many Indian TV viewers active online on KKB forums, fan pages or social media are actually part of BARC sample Indian households fixed list with their TV setboxes linked to measuring barometers? so even if some of us stop watching, will TRPs fall down suddenly to a lowest level? 😳


So as long as;

1.Other hindi TV dailies aren't able to attract huge viewership
2.Some urban Indian viewers have multiple options beyond TV
3.BARC keeps using same type and almost similar size of fixed urban samples from 2015, without picking random and new ones or fully automating data collection process
4.Some people still continue to watch 9pm on Zee mainly out of habit or for Sriti & Shabir
5.There's no tough competition at 9pm week day slot on other hindi channels


KKB may continue to be in top 10 list., may be for same reasons Zee team, Balaji heads, KKB cast & crew aren't so hyper about it and may continue to be complacent with their work and unaffected as long as their pay slips are regular and advertisers keep giving some ads, even if its at little lower price. 🤔


But it doesn't imply all such sample BARC households who are regular KKB viewers are still loving, enjoying & are excitedly hooked up to KKB daily..


For e.g.

Say 30 sample BARC households who are regular KKB viewers don't switch off / change channel but keep Zee still ON from 9pm-9.30pm for 30 mins though keeping it muted even if not watching KKB due to lost interest, they may still add to about 900 impressions. (30 * 30)


Same way if 300 sample households tune to Zee but change channel after 3 mins of watching it either out of boredom, irritation or bcoz there are better options to explore on other channels at same time slot, they may give same 900 impressions for KKB. (300 * 3)
