Suraj meets the colonel at the market. The colonel asks him if he loves Naina, Suraj tells him that he . loves her a lot. The colonel wants him to prove it, Suraj says he's ready for any test and can give his life.
Abhay and the second officer are in disguise, they're watching Suraj through a mirror. A woman in burqa comes an blocks their view, she wants to buy from them but they try to send her away only to realize she's Chakor, she says she couldn't leave the mission.
The colonel gives Suraj a gun and asks him to kill a stranger, he says he has five minutes and if he doesn't do the task, his snipers will kill him, he shows him his men and explains his logic for the punishment. He points at Chakor at asks Suraj to kill her.
The second officer notices that Suraj has a gun but Abhay tells him not to interfere because of the sniper. Suraj approaches an unsuspecting Chakor. Suraj remembers how Chakor convinced him of the mission and what his task was.
Suraj stands behind Chakor and raises his gun at her, she turns and is shocked to see him, she has tears in her eyes, her purse falls and she bends to get them, Suraj notices her ring and bangles and realizes it's Chakor. He remembers his memories with Chakor and Saanvi
Suraj tries to think of a way out, he looks to his left and calls Saanvi's name, Chakor looks in the same direction, Suraj shoots and the bullet misses Chakor. Chakor knows that it was a plan by Suraj. Chakor runs and joins Abhay.
The colonel is impressed with Suraj (he's more smitten than Naina), he compliments Suraj on his looks and bravery and says he'll do anything for his daughter. He wants to celebrate by taking Suraj out to drink, Suraj doesn't want to go using work as an excuse but the colonel insists.
Chakor tells Abhay that she's going to the colonel's house to look for evidence. Chakor pretends to be the dance teacher of the blind children, she says they made a CD as a surprise for Naina and convinces the guards to let her in.
The colonel decides to take Suraj to his house instead of going to a club and teases him about meeting Naina.
Chakor's almost caught by the servant and Naina. She hears them talking about the colonel's study room and how he gets angry when someone comes into it and so she decides to search it.
