Another wonderful set of Shivika scenes today, 12 uninterrupted minutes of Shivika dose...must be savored cuz it's a rare event...aage intercuts hi honge most likely😆

We picked up where he left yesterday with Shivaay's emotional catharsis about his parents...what made this scene touching today was the way Anika had her hand over his heart as if subconsciously trying to soothe him silently just through that gesture and the way he turned to look at her was so touching...again a meaningful moment of exchange where she sort of tells him with her eyes that it will be ok...

Shivaay venting about his anger at the woman who broke up his parent's marriage triggered something inside Anika too as for the first time she shared with someone how broken she feels over what her mother did, what it feels like to pretend that her mother is dead only to protect her sister from the ugly truth...SC performed this emotional breakdown so touchingly👏...and Shivaay was so moved watching her tell him all this, trying his best to console her and then lamenting that he doesn't know how to hug or he'd hug her...aww...lol

The way she looks up at him when he says he feels like hugging her whenever she cries cuz he can't bear to see her tears...aww

And then comes the build up to the hug...the guy who said moments ago that he doesn't know how to hug, instinctively moves to fold her into such a deep hug as if he never wants to let go...and such a BEAUTIFUL hug it was...the kind that says I'll always be there for you, come what may and Anika utterly relaxed into it...as if for the first time in her life, she found peace, someone to watch over her...and it brought a beautiful serene smile on her face as she rested her cheek on his shoulder. This moment was a beautiful amalgamation of instinct and love...a Shivaay who CONSCIOUSLY thinks he's incapable of knowing how to hug someone is instinctively MOVED so much by Anika's pain, her tears that he finds himself capable of hugging in a way he never knew possible...and suddenly it feels like the most natural thing in the world as they fit together like two pieces of a puzzle...meant to be.

Also worth noting LM's vision in setting up this scene, this hug in a truly different way from alll the other hugs Shivika have had over the last two years...even after all that variety, they managed to show them hug in a new way today, with so much meaning in that extended form...really added to the feels. 👏👏

And then begins an adorable convo continuing throughout the hug... Shivaay's first worry crops up..."Tum kisi ko bataana mat ki main hug karna SEEKH gaya hoon"😆...Image ka itna darr, Billu ji? LOL Anika can only smile with a hmm in response to this...waise who even TAUGHT you anything, Shivaay? You did it all on your own...not like Anika ne TUITION lagaai hugs ki tumhaare liye😆

"Ek baat kahun? Tum bahut achhi ho"...lol awww at the smile that blooms on Anika's face in response to this...then the way she says, " Thank you"...itna softly...some lovely new voice modulation from SC today

She's thankful that he listened...that she feels so light, so unburdened after sharing her secret with him

Toh Billu's like lemme share a secret too😆...I did something I shouldn't have done but I still did it and I have no idea WHY I did it😆

"Main nahin chahta tha tum Nikhil ki ring peheno, main chahta tha tum MERI ring peheno"😆

And our talli Anika just finds that the most hilarious thing possible😆

That failed attempt at a high five😆😆

Shivika opened up in increments over the course of the drunk scenes in these two episodes...yesterday was the setting up of the basis for this video to be made...they had to go through the motions of seeing each other laugh, learning about each other's gussa, apologies, to finally get to the video bit.

And making the video was cathartic for both of them, opened up a new floodgate of emotions and even though Shivaay was the one to initiate a hug for the first time, it was a balm on both their souls...they both consoled each other, soothed each other...the very act of being able to hold each other in that hug opened them up to each other even more...and it continued on in the next set of scenes.

Anika openly laughs at the hilarity of what's happening with them...Shivaay confesses he put his own ring on her finger deliberately, so she laughs about the fact that all the functions are happening for them only...roka, engagement...when in fact they don't even know each other😆😆

The way he puts up his hand to show engagement and then puts the engagement finger down...kya randomness tha woh😆

And we get a parallel to Shivaay talking about "Humaare beech kuch toh hai...AJEEB sa"😆

And then he's like "Humaari shaadi ho gayi toh"? And Anika's oh so sweetly smilng and saying "Ho bhi sakti hai"...haha

To which Shivaay's like nahin, pehle paani phenkne ka REDUX hoga😆...why? How? doesn't matter...he felt like throwing water on her to wake her up from shaadi talks or he just felt like throwing water on her cuz he's done it before...who knows...lol but it was a nice familiar touch back

And Anika's like lemme just return the favor for the heck of it...lol

Phir hasste hasste it was time to move into mad dancing...ek hug aur paani phenkne ka kamaal toh dekho...Shivaay ke andar ka MICHAEL JACKSON jaag gaya🤣...to dance on "Aaj RAPAT jaayein toh"😆😆

This part reminded me of steps from Tujhko mirchi lagi toh😆

Ekdum filmy mode ON😆

Finally naach naach ke inka mann bhar gaya and off they went to sleep😆...cuddled up in what was once their bed...I guess it still is...DEJA VU😆

Even though Shivaay woke up with a start, he didn't immediately jar Anika awake...LOL@ him gingerly trying to move away and Anika only cuddling in closer to him😆

LOL he only started to wake her up when he heard OmRu...woh bhi in a surprisingly soft way, ekdum pyar se ki utho Anika, utho...as if he's whispering close to her forehead

And finally she wakes up with a start...but they are both still remarkably calm about the fact that they are in bed together😆

It was an Shivikalesiously emotional episode.

NM-SC- LM at their best.

Those 12 mins between Shivika were absolutely gorgeous. Only thing o hope against hope is that they will eventually remember all of this.

My complaints are for the editing dept. Yesterday the transport between the bed room to living room was a major blooper. One more major blooper was that Anika already has the torn piece of the boarding pass when she walked into the room post the engagement and the engagement ring was returned. Yesterday's episode started where Priyanka gives her Daksh's jacket and Anika finds the boarding pass on the pocket. Are 'mere bhaai' how did she have the boarding pass first and finds it later?? The song choice was pathetic, they could have chosen a better one like 'tip tip barsa pani pain ne sag lagai '. The editing dept was all over the place here too.

Loveddd the build up for the hug... very beautifully shot scene...

the actual 🤗actually translated the emotions jo Shivay actually tells Anni...

sab thik hojayegaa... the hug was full of childlike innocence yet you could see the peace on their faces... it felt as if both of them found the missing piece of their soul that makes them complete...

and then Billu ka confession ki he purposely put his ring on her finger because he didn't wanted to see Nikhil ka ring on her finger 😆😆😆

I felt the song was mismatch with the mood of the whole build up...😕.. agar nahi hota toh bhi chalata...

in my pinion Kuch Na Kahoo...kuch bhi na kahoo... from 1942 a love story would have been a better choice with both of them swaying to the melody just staring at each other...

the whole achanak se pani fekana mere palle nahi pada... 😳 super jarring editing / flow tha scene ka... it felt like as if they were ticking a box... as they where transitioning through emotions rona, ekdusare ko sambhalana... hug... pani feko... goofy dance...

anyhow lets see age kya hota hain...😆😆

Ps: what i don't understand is itana dil kholake bate karane ke bad if not even one of them gona remember anything toh fayada kya un batoka???😆😆😆

LOL yes I noticed this blooper yesterday too...they aired those scenes out of order but then such bloopers have happened in IB before also like with the custody papers scenes last year...I can forgive them these bloopers cuz we got great Shivika scenes otherwise😆

Editing was ok...I've seen worse from IB so I don't have that many complaints...I'm just thankful the Shivika scenes were all shown in one flow instead of intercutting with scenes of other pairs...that is what kills the feels.

As for the song...haha how is "Tip tip barsa paani" any better? Did this look like the setting for a sensuous song sequence of that sort?😕😕...and where was the baarish that they would need to justify that song? 😆

LOL the intention was to show them dancing in a crazy fashion...you are expecting a soulful song like Kuch na Kaho? Haha bhool jaao😆😆...they needed a mad song and I guess this rapat jaayein song worked for that situation.

The scene had already transitioned away from being soulful after they broke out of the hug...uske baad they were goofing around, doing nautanki...toh uske baad suddenly kuch na kaho kahaan se aata?

Personally I wasn't really jarred by the paani phenkna...cuz I didn't bother thinking why...everything is explained with the a simple one line explanation of "Mujhe lagta hai maine pehle bhi yeh kiya hai"😆...so no, wouldn't really say it was like checking off a box today...it was about putting in another moment of deja vu and finding a way to change the topic from shaadi discussion to some form of "baarish" taaki song lyrics justify ho jaayein "Paani mein aag lagi" types😆

About the hug...yes, Shivaay still wants to "sab theek kar dunga" even now...that is what pulled the hug out of him...his raw need to console Anika...her tears make him come undone...and his pain makes her come undone...two halves of one soul.

Re: dil khol ke baat karna par yaad na rakhna...lol well that is how it usually goes in shows...this is a way of giving them moments without moving their equation forward...ki dikhaa do how they feel about each other but surface pe MUs daal do...lol

Forgot to post these before...lol ending was a bit random only with Anika more focused on her ghoomta sar than the fact that she was in Shivaay's room...and when she tried to ask him about it, he's like let's not focus on that, for now you just need to leave the room...lol@ him saying tum bahut strong ho, sambhaal logi😆
