"Riya?"

Everything was silent. Shree and Chotu were bawling their eyes. Aisha, Liza and Sakshi were also a bit teary. Kirti looked disgusted to see Riya's condition as if she wouldn't even want to touch her. Rathore was shocked and confused. Arjun was just stunned. He thought it's an illusion. He couldn't believe that this girl was his Riya.

Rathore was the first to snap back to reality. He realized that Riya...Riya's lookalike...whoever this girl was, was not in a very good condition. She had multiple wounds on her body and bleeding from many places. The girl was unconscious and needed medical attention ASAP.

"Rawte, hosh mein aao. Ise jald se jald hospital leke jaana hoga. Dekho kitna khoon beh gaya hai."

This seemed to have worked the magic. Everyone came out of their trance and looked at 'Riya'. Arjun finally took his eyes off her face and looked at her condition. His anger climbed back up the mountain. Whoever did this to his Riya was going to pay dearly. He quickly picked her up and ran out of the cave. The backup police were still there waiting for orders. Rathore took charge, "Le jao in sab ko aur jail mein daal do."

Arjun however told them to wait. He took out his eyes and shot 4 more bullets in Pasha's legs and arms. Everyone was once again shocked while Pasha cried out in pain. Rathore glared at Arjun. "Yeh kya badtameezi hai Rawte?"

Arjun, without turning back and walking out with Riya in his arms said, "Yeh meri Riya ko haath lagane ki saza hai. Sukar manao maine ise Riya ki aisi haalat karni ki punishment nahi di." Nobody had courage to say anything. They could feel Arjun's anger from 2km away. They all had one question in mind... 'HIS Riya?'

Everyone sat in the SUV and left towards the hospital. Shree, Rathore, Chotu, Arjun and Riya in one SUV and all the others in the other one. As soon as they reached the hospital, they marched in yelling for a doctor. Arjun laid Riya on a stretcher and the ward boys rolled the stretcher in the Operation Theatre.

Arjun slumped on the chair nearby and continuously stared at the doors. Shree was the first one to break the silence. "Sir, yeh Ri...kaise...matlab yeh sab kaise hua? Ri zinda kaise hai aur inhone use kis berehmi se maara hai." He couldn't even talk properly because he was crying a lot. Liza moved to him and just embraced Shree. "Shant ho jao Shree."

Rathore gazed at Shree and put his hand on the chair backrest. "Shree, sambhalo apne aap ko. Hume nahi pata yeh sab kaise hua par agar wo Riya hai toh use kuch nahi hoga...vishwas rakho."

At that moment, the doctor walked out of the Operation Theatre. Everyone quickly got up and asked about Riya. The doctor had a very serious look on his face. "Dekhiye main aapko koi jhoothi tasalli nahi dunga. Patient ki condition bahut critical hai. Unka kaafi blood loss hua hai aur gehre ghaav hain. Lekin bahut saare aise ghaav hai jo heal ho gaye hain. Unke sar mein bhi serious chot aayi hai aur ribs bhi break ho gaye hain. Agar agle 48 hours mein unhone treatment ko respond nahi kiya toh wo comma mein jaa sakti hain aur shayad..."

The doctor went back in the OT leaving ETF to digest this news. Everyone was shattered hearing this. Shree and Chotu completely broke down while the girls tried consoling them. Liza said, "Guys kuch nahi hoga use. Wo bilkul theek ho jaayegi." Shree just hugged her and continued crying. Sakshi went to Chotu and said, "Chotu tumhari dost ko bhagwan kuch nahi karenge. Tum himmat mat haaro."

Rathore was hurt hearing the doctor's words. His eyes teared up and Aisha saw this. She put her hand on his shoulder and Sameer started talking, "Riya meri choti behen jaisi hai. Mujhe laga tha ki maine use kho diya hai par wo toh itna dard sehti rahi. Main use dobara nahi kho sakta. Use kuch nahi hoga na?" Aisha couldn't see Sameer in this condition so she just made him sit on a chair and said, "Sameer aap hosla rakhiye. Jab tak aap hain uske saath, use kuch nahi ho sakta."

Everyone was busy in their grief that nobody noticed that Kirti wasn't there. Actually, Kirti never entered the hospital. Her friends called her for a party so she left.

Arjun, who was still shaken from doctor's words, stormed to the nearest temple. He looked at the Ganpati idol and fell on his knees. Folding his hands and tears in eyes, he started praying. "Mera aap par se vishwas uth gaya hai. Nahi manta hoon main aap ko. Lekin aaj pehli baar main aapke saamne meri Riya ki jaan ki bheekh maang raha hoon. Riya toh aapko sabse zyada manti hai na toh fir uske saath aisa kyun kar rahe hain? Galti meri hai toh saza use kyun? Manta hoon aaj Riya ki iss haalat ka zimmedar main hoon. Aap mujhe jo saza dena chahe de sakte hai, main khushi-khushi use qubool kar lunga. But aap please Riya ko bacha lijiye. Chahe toh meri jaan le lijiye...main shikayat bhi nahi karunga. But use kuch nahi hona chahiye. Ek baar use kho chuka hoon...dobara use kho diya toh zinda nahi bachunga main. Aap jaante hai ki meri har saans mein sirf Riya ka naam hai. Agar usi Riya ki saansein nahi bachi toh main kaise jee paunga. Tut toh main Riya ke pehli baar chale jaane se hi gaya tha...ab bhikhar jaaunga. Be-intehaan mohabbat karta hoon main apni Riya se...itni ki agar uski muskurahat thodi bhi kam hui toh main sab tabah kar dunga. Jisne bhi Riya ko dard dene ki jurat ki hai, usko toh main itna tadpaunga ki usko Riya ki aankh se gire har aansu ka hisaab dena hoga. Aaj tak sab ne sirf mera gussa dekha hai. Agar Riya ko kuch bhi hua toh poori duniya mere gusse ki jwalamukhi dekhenge jo sab ko jala kar rakh kar degi. Aaj agar meri Riya ko kuch bhi hua na toh waada karta hoon, main iss duniya ko khatam kar dunga...aur aisa karne se aap bhi mujhe nahi rok paaenge." Arjun's eyes reflected anguish and pure rage. He looked into idol's eyes as if challenging him to test his words.

The weather was getting dark. The forces of nature were scared of Arjun's anger that it created a havoc. It was raining heavily, the sky sounded with thunderous roar and the wind had drastically picked up its pace. He kept his hand on the flame of the diya. The fire of the flame was burning his flesh but he didn't care. The diyas of the temple brightened up as if to indicate that God was fulfilling his wishes.

The whole ETF had run after Arjun when he left the hospital and had heard his entire monologue. They were shell shocked and terrified to see Arjun like this. Rathore was more worried for his friend because he knew an angry Arjun was not possible to deal with. Everyone present in the temple were stunned to hear that Arjun loves Riya to such an extent that he was readily making enemies with God.

They heard some saints nearby talking. "Yeh balak koi aam insaan nahi hai. Yeh toh apne prem ke liye kisi bhi hadh tak jaa sakta hai. Jis prakar Shree Ram...Mata Sita ke viyog mein dharti maa se krodhit ho gaye the, usi prakar yeh balak bhi svayam Ishwar ko chunoti de raha hai. Aisa pyaar kayi sadiyon mein ek baar hi aata hai. Jis kanya se yeh prem karta hai, wo sabse adhik bhagyashali hai. Bhagwan kare iske prem ko kuch na ho anyatha praleh aa jayegi."

This scared ETF team even more. They never knew Arjun was going through such turmoil and now his pain was being expressed in the form of mad fury. They wanted to console him but couldn't because even they wanted Riya to be okay and if Arjun's prayers have chances to be answered then they will not stop him.

Everyone also started praying.

Rathore - Main Roshni ko toh bacha nahi paya, lekin Riya ko kuch nahi hone dunga. Meri choti behen jaisi hai Riya. Aur ek bhai apni behen ko iss halat mein nahi dekh sakta. Ek baar use kho chuka hoon but ab nahi. Aur main Arjun ko iss tarah toot te hue nahi dekh sakta. Bhale hum ab friends nahi lekin main abhi bhi use apna manta hoon. Zindagi mein maine agar ek bhi achha kaam kiya hai toh aap Riya ko kuch nahi hone denge.

Shree - Hey Bappa, please Riya ko jaldi se theek kar do. Uski smile ko bahut miss karta hoon. Wo mere liye family se bhi badh kar hai. Aaj tak use mara samajh kar main bahut dukhi tha lekin ab wo wapas aa gayi hai. Bechare Arjun sir toh usse itna pyaar karte hai. Mujhse unki yeh haalat dekhi nahi jaati. Please God Ri ko kuch nahi hona chahiye warna main Ri jaisi best friend ke saath saath Arjun sir jaise bade bhai ko bhi kho dunga.

Chotu - Aap please Riya ko bacha lijiye. Uske bina ETF aur hum sabki life adhoori hai. Agar aapne Riya toh ek dum theek kar diya toh main apna favourite food, pizza, khana chod dunga I promise. Wo meri best friend hai aur uski baaton ko main bahut miss kar raha hoon.

Aisha - Waheguru, jo log aapko dil se yaad karte hain aap toh unki har ichha poori karte hain...toh aaj main aapse Riya ki jaan mangti hoon. Main Riya ko personally nahi jaanti but hum ETF ke log use apna bana chuke hain. Aap use theek kar dijiye. Arjun sir mere bade bhai jaise hain aur Rathore sir se main bahut pyaar karti hoon. Un dono ke liye Riya ko theek kardo na please.

Liza - Oh God, please Riya ko theek kar do. Specky bahut sad hai kyunki Riya uski best friend hai. Wo itni achhi ladki hai toh aap use kuch kar sakte hain haina? Toh bad isiliye aapko use healthy karna hi hoga.

Sakshi - Ganpati Bappa, aap toh bhakton ki har murad poori karte ho na? Toh aaj iss bhakt ke liye Ms. Mukherjee ki jaan bacha lijiye. Arjun use bahut pyaar karta hai aur main janti hoon Riya hi Arjun ko khush rakh payegi. Uss ne logon ki jaan bachane ke liye apna balidaan diya aur ache logon ke saath kabhi buran ahi hota.

Everyone was dearly praying for the well-being of Riya. The entire temple was emotional to see such love from Arjun and the team for just a girl. Arjun and ETF kept praying for Riya for a really long time.

But there was someone who was praying for the opposite. It was none other than Kirti. Kirti was in a club with her friends but her mind was still on the girl they saved today. "Iss Riya ka aisa kya rishta hai ETF ke saath jo pagalon ki tarah uske peeche pade hain sab? Hey bhagwan, waise toh main yeh manti hoon ki prayer wagehra karna old fashion hai. Lekin I want to ask you for something really special. Uss Riya ko kabhi theek mat karna. I wish ki wo hospital mein hi mar jaaye. Arjun ka uske liye kuch zyada hi concern hai aur main dekh nahi sakti. Arjun sirf aur sirf mera hai and yeh kal ki aayi ladki mujhse Arjun ko nahi cheen sakti. Isiliye use toh aap maar do." Saying this, she pulled out a photo of Arjun and kissed it.

Back in the temple

Just then the doctor treating Riya came running there. "Mr. Arjun, bhagwan ne shayad aapki prarthanaon ke saamne apne ghutne tek diye." Arjun didn't appear to have heard a single word the doctor said because he was sitting there like before; without moving an inch or turning around. It was Rathore who asked, "Aap kehna kya chahte hain doctor saaf saaf kahiye." The doctor's face brightened up with a smile. "Main yeh kehna chahta hoon ki Ms. Mukherjee ne treatment ko respond karna shuru kar diya hai. Unki jaan ko koi khatra nahi hai. Humne unki treatment start kardi hai. Sab theek raha toh unhe 1 week mein hosh aa jayega."

The entire ETF team's spirit lifted up. Their happiness knew no bounds. They silently thanked their God for hearing their prayers. But Arjun still sat there motionless. Rathore went near Arjun and shook him out of his trance. "Arjun bas karo. Tumne suna doctor ne kya kaha. Riya ko kuch nahi hoga. She has started responding to the treatment."

Upon hearing the last sentence, Arjun finally looked in Sameer's direction and his eyes were filled with tears of joy. Without wasting a second, Arjun hugged Sameer. "Sach Sameer...Riya theek ho jayegi? Use kuch nahi hoga?" Sameer was happy to hear Arjun calling him by his name and nodded. Before anyone can blink, Arjun left the temple and went to hospital...to his Riya. ETF was happy to have their Arjun back and they also left after him.

By the time they reached there, they saw Arjun looking through a window with a smile on his face. They also looked inside and saw that Riya was lying there and doctors were working on her. Shree couldn't control his happiness and hugged Liza. Liza started blushing but didn't object. Thank you, God, aapne Riya ko bacha liya. Shree ko itna khush dekh kar main bahut achha feel kar rahi hoon. Ab bas itni himmat dena ki main iss idiot ko apni dil ki baat bata sakoon.

Sameer also thanked Aisha for comforting him and smiled a genuine smile at her. Aisha couldn't believe her luck and looked away shy. Chotu and Sakshi just looked teasingly at both the girls. Arjun was just staring at Riya with a smile that put sunshine to shame.

A doctor, who was passing by, saw Arjun and walked up to him. "Mr. Rawte aap yahan? Main bas apko call karne wala tha." Arjun turned around from the door. "Doctor Tiwari aap? Kya hua...sab theek hai na? Use kuch nahi hua na?" He was panicking, and his team was confused.

"Jee sab theek hai Mr. Rawte. Main toh apko good news dene wala tha. Ms. Rawte ko hosh aa gaya hai aur wo aapke baare mein pooch rahi hain."

Arjun's happiness knew no bounds. He just hugged Dr. Tiwari and ran towards the room. The puzzled team followed behind him. Arjun entered a room and ceased staring at the patient on the bed. His eyes started flowing with tears and he slowly moved towards the patient. "Gudiya..."

Gudiya began crying tears of joy and turned to Arjun with the biggest smile. "Bhau..." Arjun and his Gudiya tightly embraced each other, tears and relief reflecting in their eyes. Arjun was the first to break the hug and started bombarding the girl with questions. "Tu kashee ahes? Kahin dard toh nahi hai na? Pata hai tune kitna dara diya tha apne bhau ko. Tujhe mujhse bilkul pyaar nahi na...warna tu itna time mujhse dur nahi rehti. Malaa maaf kar Gudiya. Meri wajah se tera yeh haal hai. Tu toh mujhse nafrat karti hai na ki main rakhi ka vaada nahi nibha paya." And he broke down crying.

The girl was in pain seeing her brother like this. She wiped his tears. "Nahi bhau. Aapki koi galti nahi thi. Hi majhi chuk aahe. Sab meri wajah se hua hai. Aapko bhi maine kitna dard diya na. Aap bahut ache bade bhaiya hai bas main hi ek achhi behen nahi. Meri wajah se aapne apne pyaar...apni Riya ko kho diya. I'm sorry bhau."

"Chup...ek dum chup. Teri koi galti nahi thi. Aur maine apne pyaar ko nahi khoya. Meri Riya zinda hai. Aur ab tu bhi theek hai. Aur haan yaad rakhna ki tu iss world ki sabse pyaari behen hai."

"Sachi bhau...Riya ji theek hain? Main bahut khush hoon...I love you bhau."

"I love you too meri Gudiya." And they both hugged each other again, but this time with a content smile.

They were completely engrossed in each other when a voice came from behind them.

"Bhau?"

"Gudiya?"
