They can have Chakor pose as a wedding planner, this way she can search for the case herself, but I don't think the colonel will be so careless and believe her without checking and I don't want any focus on the wedding preparation.

It's in the scene when he's packing the suitcase. He wants to go away from all of this. And he talks about how he almost shot Chakor. He also said that if he married naina it would hurt Chakor a lot more than a gun shot. And he can't see her in pain. He says if he married naina Chakor would die. Hopefully in the episode the dialogues would be the same, not edited too much.
