The time just stood still. The only sound heard was of wind shuffling papers around. Nobody knew what to react. They were all in pain just thinking about this. But there was someone who became a statue. For him, the only audible sounds were her anguish-filled screams. His eyes reflected the turmoil of emotions inside him. If someone looked at him, they would be looking at a shadow of a man; a broken man that has truly lost everything and even death isn't in his fate. That man was Arjun. The torture of Riya's memories numbed the sting of his hand. Riya died because of me. I pushed her to her death. Sab meri galti thi...I'm not even worthy of forgiveness.

Before anyone could say anything, Rathore's phone rang. Rathore turns to his team.

"Team, we have a new case."

Everyone suddenly got into a serious work mode and turned their full attention towards Rathore.

"Hume information mili hai ki ek bahut badi drug deal hone waali hai. Uss deal ke peeche underworld ke don Pasha ka haath hai. Information ke hisaab se wo drugs ke saath saath Bharat ke besh kimti artefacts aur aurton ko bhi desh se bahar smuggle karega. The whole team was angry that someone dared to steal something from their country. Shree asked Rathore, "Sir, yeh bhi toh ho sakta hai ki yeh information galat ho."

Arjun replied instead of Rathore, "Ho sakta hai Shree but humare paas iss lead ke ilava aur koi doosra option bhi nahi hai. Jab tak hum yeh baat confirm karenge tab tak bahur der ho jaayegi."

"He's right team. Shree, tum uss area ke saare phones hack karo and record everything that goes on in that palace. Chotu aur Ayesha tum dono Rawte ke follow karna. Everyone said yes sir and started working for the mission.

"Rathore, I think hume do teams mein jaana chahiye. Jitna hum failenge, utni hi hum unhe pakad paayenge. Backup ko Sakshi call kar degi if we need help." Rathore nodded and called everyone in conference hall.

Arjun started telling the plan. "Okay so hum do teams mein divide ho jaayenge. Ek mein Rathore aur Ayesha and doosre mein main aur Chotu. Liza car mein medical help taiyaar rakhegi. Shree tum wahan ke saare phone networks hack karke unhe band kardoge, jisse wo criminals help ke liye call na kar paaye aur na hi unka koi saathi unse contact kar paaye. Lekin sirf humare phones on hone chahiye. Sakshi tum yahan reh kar media ko handle karogi. And if we need any help, tum backup forces ko undar bhej dena."

Kirti who just walked in said, "Tum toh mujhe bhool hi gaye. Main kya karungi Arjun?"

Everyone just stifled their laughs at Arjun's comment while Kirti fumed. Before the matter could worsen, Shree piped up, "Sir, main aap logon ko kuch dena chahta hoon. Arjun sir aap yeh belt le lijiye. Iska button dabate hi ek ultrasonic wave produce hogi jo 100m ke radius tak failegi. Everyone looked at Shree in admiration and Arjun and Sameer both praised his intelligence. Shree was shocked but happy to hear them praising him for the first time. A stupid grin stuck to his face.

"Team this is a huge mission, take care. Let's move out." Hearing Rathore's concern, ETF team was happy and moved out for their mission.

ETF reached the spot and took their positions. They scanned the perimeter and slowly started their work. They silently started killing the guards and moved forwards. Chotu alone killed half of their men bare-handed and Arjun, Rathore and Aisha shot the rest. Here, Shree also hacked the networks and recorded everything for later use. Inside the palace, the deal was smoothly happening without the insiders knowing about the storm outside.

On the other hand, Kirti also reached the harbour. After the team left, she in anger had decided that even if the team is not taking her with them on the mission, she will still go as she is a team member.

Rathod, Aisha, Chotu and Arjun reached inside and silently got rid of the guards. The Russians and Pasha were unaware that their men were reducing in number. Suddenly, everyone heard a small shriek. The dealers got alerted and took out their guns. ETF also cursed the person who made such a fatal mistake and ruined their plan. Outside, Kirti's foot slipped because of her heels and she was the one who yelled.

Both sides started firing towards each other. Every few seconds a goon would fall down dead and they realized that ETF is overpowering them. The Russians took the bag and tried to flee, but Arjun shot them dead. By now Shree and Liza had also joined the fight. Pasha's eyes fell on Kirti who had just walked in and he caught her.

"Ruk jao warna main ise goli maar dunga. The firing seized immediately. ETF realized that Kirti had disobeyed the orders and she was the one who destroyed their plan. Arjun was angry and his hands balled into fists. Rathod tried talking to Pasha.

"Dekho Pasha, use chod do. Tumhe police ne ghera hua hai. Tum bachke jaa nahi paaoge."

Pasha began laughing maniacally. Everyone was momentarily stunned.

"Tumhe kya laga main itni asaani se pakda jaunga? Tum log abhi kachche ho ACP sahab. Zara nazar toh ghumao." Everyone looked around and realized that they were surrounded by Pasha's goons. "Ab apni bandook neeche rakho aur mujhe jaane do. Warna yeh item toh gayi. Aur tum sab bhi maroge." Everyone except Arjun hesitantly lowered their guns. "Tumhe special invitation du? Gun neeche rakh!"

Arjun slowly brought the gun down. Halfway through he remembered about the belt Shree gave him. "Marega toh tu kamine." And he pushed the button. The effect was exactly what Shree said. The goons dropped their guns and covered their ears. Pasha's grip on Kirti loosened and since Kirti was not supposed to come to the mission, she didn't have the protection and she too fell down.

ETF took advantage of this situation and quickly picked their guns and captured all the goons. As the effect wore off, Arjun pointed his gun at Pasha. Backup forces (with Sakshi) arrived and rescued all the girls and captured all the remaining goons along with the smuggled goods. Everyone from ETF were injured but not too badly.

Rathore was just glaring at Kirti. "Tumhe ek baar mein samajh nahi aata. Mana kiya tha tumhe iss mission pe aane ko phir kyun aayi bolo." Kirti was equally mad, "Mujhpe mat chillao samjhe tum. Main tumhari junior nahi ho. Senior inspector hoon and as a team member main iss mission ke liye equally vital hoon."

At this, Arjun got mad, "Haan dekh liya kitni vital ho. Aaj tumhari wajah se itna bada don humare haath se nikal jaata aur shayad hum zinda bhi nhi bachte. Agar khud ko protect nahi kar sakti toh kyun aayi yahan? Ek mission theek se hota nahi aur khud ko inspector kehti ho? Tumhe apni fashion magazine se chutkara mile toh hi toh tum layak ban paogi lekin nahi."

Kirti was crying by the end but nobody cared. They knew what Arjun said was right. Just then a girl came crying to ETF, "Sir aap please unhe bacha lijiye. Yeh log unhe bahut torture karte hain." Everyone was confused and asked her who she was talking about.

"Main un didi ki baat kar rahi hoon. Yeh log unhe bahut torture karte hain. Jab bhi koi humpe haath uthata tha toh didi hume bacha leti thi lekin fir yeh sab milke unhe marte the. Girls had tears in their eyes from hearing about that girl's selflessness and endurance to pain. Arjun's eyes blazed with fire for a reason unknown to them all. He turned to Pasha. "Kahan hai wo. Seedha seedha jawab de warna poori bandook tujh mein khaali kar dunga."

Arjun face contorted in absolute fury that even Rathore was a little scared. "Mujhe do baar bolne ki aadat nahi hai." He shot Pasha in both legs. Pasha fell down in pain and was horrified to see Arjun so angry. "Bandook mein abhi bhi 8 goliyan baaki hain. Ab chup-chap muh kholega ya humesha ke liye tera muh band kar dun? Samjhe ya Samjhaun."

"Samajh gaya sahab. Wo uss kamre ke peeche ek gufa hai. Ussi gufa mein hai wo."

Arjun threw Pasha on the floor and ran towards the cave. Rathore told police to capture Pasha and ETF team ran after Arjun. Arjun reached the cave and saw a figure on the chair at the end. He slowly walked towards it with the thudding of his heart echoing in his ears. He was scared and he didn't know why.

ETF reached near Arjun and was confused. They didn't know why Arjun was reacting like this. Arjun reached the figure and slowly removed hair from her face and froze. He just went numb and sat there like a statue.

Rathore asked from the back, "Arjun, kya hua?" The team was shocked to hear him say Arjun, but Arjun still didn't respond. They all slowly walked closer to Arjun and were equally shocked to see the girl's face. Only one word echoed in the cave.

"Riya?"
