Jaise taise the other two engagements managed to happen😆...not really worth digging into but a few things I noticed in passing...Anika looked to Nikhil to stand up for her in front of his parents and surprisingly he did in the moment with agreeing to put the ring on the other hand and not caring much ki left ho ya right😆...another way of looking at this is that he himself doesn't care how the engagement happens as long as he still has a line to his free ATM Anika😆 Haan bhai nikhil ko kya adi hai as far as he gets his supply of cash every day . i was shocked too about him taking anika's side but again i can't find one thing genuine about this guys everything starts from money and revolves around money toh he would haan main haan milao until he gets anika tied to him ( well that will never happen but he can continue hoping)
Meanwhile on the other side is Mr. Zombie SSO giving a new meaning to the phrase "going through the motions" for his own engagement to Tia😆...I suppose he might have put a bit more of an effort to put on a show of being into it if Anika had been around for him to try and get a jealous reaction out of...woh shaayad aage hoga😆...for now, both of them remained haunted by the Mere Haath Mein moment.
What i found super amusing was the contrast between the way billu ji pehnaoed anika the ring and how he almost threw the ring in tia ki finger and then apna haath kaise phenka ke lo pehnao khatam karo with such a sadi hui shakal😆😆 matlab koi andha bhi bata de he is so nakhush and would rather die than get engaged or married. Bohat funny hai tia ke parents yeh sab dekhte hue uski shaadi ke liye raazi hai 😆😆😆😆 also it was so funny ke aniak ne ek baar bhi nikhil ki ring ko nahi dekha or showed any kind of emotion in regards to that technically toh sagai NN ke saath hui but anika shivaay ki ring ko hi dil se laga ke khadi thi the way she kept looking at it in mid of ceremony and remembering how it got there so full of emotion while NN ki ring toh did not even got a look from her forget any emotion, don;t worry poora jealousy karwayega remember 2nd shitia shaadi masaasages tak bhi jaa sakta hai yeh to get a reaction out of her but she will fix him with a chakku . phir bolega mere ko farak nahi padta yeah Right😆Act 2 really starts when Shivaay shows up at Anika's doorstep and without a word spoken, both their eyes instantly drop to his ring on her finger😆...you can almost see the satisfaction and relief on Shivaay's face ever so briefly😆 kya hai yeh banda matlab sach main aadhi raat ko he showed up to ask engagement hui ke nahi ring cutter toh bahana hai. iss baar toh saari haddein paar kar di hain isne. it is so funny and cute and just awww wala bhi but at the same time it makes you scratch your head ke kyon billui aisa kyon hai tu 😆 neend nahi aani thi isko without knowing ke hua ke nahi .
Until Anika shows him Nikhil's ring on her other finger and the satisfaction of "victory' somewhat dims😆... phir the epis latka face made a return heheheh
But to his credit, Shivaay still ATTEMPTED nonchalance by switching the topic to the ring cutter😆...I found it interesting that Anika herself didn't look too happy here to learn about the ring cutter...there was that sense of reluctance to go towards anything that would remove the ring from her finger...ironic when she had scrambled to get it off her finger a few hours back...now it was sitting there and she didn't feel a compulsion or eagerness to get it off anymore...in fact she looked sad about the prospect of taking it off😆...despite NM-SC having shot this scene seperately, the execution of emotions was so bang on...even the CGI-ed greenery behind Shivaay couldn't distract from it😆 anika ka bhi ring pehnate hi lagav ho gaya she feels this sudden haq over him and ring too rishta toh isne issi ring se joda hai na doosri ko toh dekha bhi nahi 😆 woh kehte hain na shaadi se bhagte raho but the moment you take phere/ everything changes and you cannot understand until you get in that situation lol same thing happened with anika.ab yeh ring sirf ring nahi hai ek toh pehle hi they have this couple like vibe going on uppar se ring pehnte hi yeh more and more mrs sso ho gayi hai kinda mentally married to him poori body language main aur bhi ease aa gaya hai. that slight switch between feeling even more possessive even more apna it was beautifully displayed by both sides and lol cgi greenery toh maine dekha bhi nahi notice bhi nahi kia NM sc were that good with their expressions.
And this emotion further continues in the beginning of the ring cutter scene...I found it so cute that she was just watching Shivaay while the ring cutter worked on her finger...such a little thing but again that sense of a silent conversation always going on...their eyes are always seeking each other out, trying to say something to each other...Shivaay here again was trying to attempt nonchalance by looking away but his body language shows his entire attention was focused on her only In Yo FACE AWASTHI matlab yeh koi au shivaay nahi tha yeh humara asli real wala shivaay cum billu ji displaying his sau rang thay. anika toh like was doing silent requests looking at him with so much hope ke rok lo ab matt nikalo ring ko chahte toh woh bhi yehi tha isi liye the moment he again got a chance to keep the ring at her finger he did not miss it and dafah karooed the jeweller seeing her wound not only that maze se accepted bhi that he is the reason. his panic was just sooo touching and made me emo, the care the focus the love was overflowing and she was just watching all in daze ke yeh bhi side hai, despite all this her finger bleeding him panicking she had a sukoon on her face yes seh was in pain but still more in awe of this guys she was at peace ek dum calm ke yeh hai toh kuch nahi hoga. humari real world anika aise moments pe ro deti thi her eyej se khushi wala bhater behta tha yeh dekh ke ke koi usk itni care karta hai but this one yet displays her emotional strength even more jke yeh itni jaldi nahi ro di khushi ke maare though i love both the shades so much and both versions of anika. billu blowing on her fingers toh was so so so pyara
The entire sequence after this from the moment she gets hurt is one to behold...Shivaay's protectiveness for her is even more intense this time...but what was even more touching in this scene was the way she was just watching him the entire time he was panicking over her finger...whether it was scolding the ring cutter guy, berating himself for being the cause of her pain, cradling her hand, her finger so delicately, trying to soothe it by blowing on it...all Anika could do was again just watch him with a sense of awe...but it's not the same kind of awe as before...again it's hard to explain what a sense of familiarity there is in this awe...as if she's both surprised and touched by his concern for her...the need that instinctively arises inside her to calm him down when he's agitated...as if seeing him agitated or upset is something she can't bear, even if it's for her sake...the way only her voice is the one that ultimately cuts through and calms him down by simply saying his name in that calm tone...this scene was just beautifully performed...again I just loved the attention to detail vis a vis the emotions. +1 i don't have anything to add except am a mush ball getting teary and squealing and just feeling a billion things while watching this and you have so beautifully beautifully explained this
How agitated was he, drowning in guilt over the mere sight of her in pain...already a sea change from the guy who didn't blink much the first time he saw a gash on her forehead😆
All she had to do was take his name, "Shivaay"...and he calmed down in that moment before they were interrupted...even now she takes his name as naturally as breathing...that strong sense of her having taken his name a 100 times before...it doesn't feel new on her tongue and somehow only her saying his name makes it special to him she truly is the balm for him and answer to all hsi questions his pareshanis . sau baat ki ek baat kuch aur shivaay pe aise haavi nahi ho sakta like she does it is like she just hypnotizes him and takes over every fibre of his body uske baad bas kuch nahi shivaay ke liye and it is heartwarming to say the least . though i really wish this moment was thoda aur played before the interruption . i wish they have drawn the effect a bit longer . i wanted to see his daze his reaction more in detail
Act 3 was the briefest today...lol and yet it had it's own layers to it...Anika showing up in Shivaay's room the next morning and him thinking she's gonna try and talk about the ring issue again which he wants to avoid...what's done is done he says😆...and she's like what? I wasn't talking about the ring...but now that he mentions it, she realizes the ring is still on her finger😆...so now she's like oh yeah I DID come here to return the ring (liar😆) but I also came here to talk about Daksh...the moment she talks about Daksh, Shivaay flips and the ring he didn't want to talk about minutes ago now provides good cover again..."Laao do...ring", he says...irritation mein...Anika looks a bit thrown off for a second...and then she moves, quite reluctantly and SADLY😆 to take the ring off her finger...and please do note Shivaay's expressions when she ACTUALLY takes off the ring😆...itna sad and lost himself😆...he even stuttered with a "Achha theek hai, de-de do phir"😆.
Matlab first he himself asked for the ring back in an irritated impulse but when it actually came off her finger, depress ho gaye bechaare Billu ji phir se😆...Anika herself looked like she felt bereft after removing the ring from her finger...bechaare dono ko nahin samajh aa raha why they felt the loss of the ring so acutely in that moment
samjh nahi paa rahe ke akhir chahte kkya hain yeh dono hahah anika toh ring ko bhool hi gay thi apna hi maanke bhethi hai kaafi bada jhatka laga tha usko jab he said give it back the ring and the way she looked at it haha dil toot ta ankhon main dikha So that closes the ring chapter...for now😆...with the upcoming drunk sequence, it seems likely we might see both of them loosening up more and expressing what they feel in their hearts...Shivaay might blurt out more about why he put the ring on her finger.
Daksh clearly is leaving no chance to insinuate that Shivika have something going on together...Shivaay is shutting him down for now but if this keeps up, Anika's character will be questioned again...remains to be seen if Shivaay who currently believes Daksh blindly will again fall for the same MU about Anika's character. and am going to repeat i feel his manhoos plan will be to break anika ki shaadi by blaming him bal bla bla with NN and all and my feeling is becoming stronger ki shaadi toh unwanted hogi but billu might do it to save her aage dekhte hain kya hota hai
But a pretty good week overall for IB...editing and flow could have been a bit better today but still a good epi overall, especially for the lovely Shivika scenes.
