Well, Aunty, I wouldn't even be watching this show if it weren't for Rohit. I honestly can't think of any other actor who could bring Alexander's character to life the way he has and make us live his journey with him. I always keep saying that he doesn't just play Alexander, he is Alexander. Even his mundane scenes are worth watching because of his screen presence.

There I go again... You already know how much I admire Rohit's work and can't stop praising him. 👏

As for the recent tracks, I'm glad we're getting to see Alexander's genius and military prowess (hopefully) get more focus, 'cause Rohit is even more fantastic in action sequences. I especially loved the way he set the model on fire because this man is the embodiment of fire through this thoughts, words, and actions, and here I refer to both Sony Alexander and Rohit.

The real Roxanne appears to have loved Alexander. Of this one, it is impossible to be at all concerned about her. For one thing, her Instagram admirers notwithstanding, the lady's repertoire of expressions is limited to a blank gaze.

It would seem that Alexander has now shifted his focus to things military, which is something to be grateful for. At least I don't want to clobber him after every scene of his with her.

Finally, you are so ecstatic about this Alexander because he is played so superbly by Rohit. The Alexander in the 2012 Chandragupta Maurya looked like a suet pudding, and appeared to be sleep walking most of the time that he was on-screen. You would have found it difficult to gush over that Alexander!😆

Yes, he is. And Ambhiraj, for all his deadpan
face, is by now seriously worried about having this firebrand in his palace and kingdom.😆

For all that, it seems to me that Alexander is getting sucked into a vortex of acute hatred against Porus. That is not good for him, for it will warp his judgement. I don't understand his furious refrain that Porus insulted him before his praja. Unless he is referring to Porus' foolish assertion that he could have killed him several times, I can't see how this affirmation is correct.

But maybe I am mistaken, and when it comes to the battle ahead, he will be able to compartmentalize things, and regain his old ice-cold mastery over both tactics and strategy. I very much hope so.
