Here Is The Update For 21st February, 2 0 0 8, L R L Episode.
Episode begins with the usual Recaps :-
Episode starts of with the medical attention to Purvi. In between Rummy tells he had given Purvi a fruit to eat and Vidya says those fruits / berries are poisonous. Abhimanyu who is in charge and attending to Purvi, calls for first aid and administers the antidote. Further Purvi is shifted back to the Academy's Infirmary.
From no where Major Vaibhavi puts in the appearance and asks Captain Gunraj, who is in charge of the drill to continue his exercises. Rummy is asked to do eight rounds in the morning by Gunny.
And Major Vaibhavi asks Rummy to report to the Major General. Abhimanyu tells her that it is a small matter and Purvi is alright as well and this matter could be sorted out at their level without troubling the Major General. But Major Vaibhavi is adamant and goes to the extent of bizarrely accusing Rummy in attempting to murder Purvi. Abhimanyu and rest appear to be shocked. Abhimanyu further says it is a case of accident. But Major shows her superiority and leaves. Gunny is relaxed and calm all the while.
Morning arrives. For five minutes or so the scenes keep switching between Rummy and Purvi. Rummy doing his eights rounds and having the flash back of him and Purvi , back in the jungle with those few scenes of Purvi eating the fruit. Purvi is in the Infirmary under medical observation.
In the mess hall there is the usual light hearted talk and Akrithi says she would go crazy, listening to Vidya's banter / talk. And immediately Vidya responds with, "Is There Any Doubt ?", when Akrithi does not understand what Vidya Meant, Vidya explains that whether Akrithi need to go further mad then what she is at present.
Markhand is happy because he is got a day off at the weekend. This is a reward for him and Peter for arriving first during the drill. He announces that he is going to meet his friend. When asked for the identity, he answers simply that he is going to sleep.
Rummy comes in and looks lost, and that he has to meet his Dad, The Major General, Vidya comforts him by saying any Parent would not be strict with their children, but Rummy says his Dad is different and Vidya does not realize or know his Dad.
Purvi then joins them and she is fully fit, Rummy tells her that because of him she gets hurt and have to visit the Infirmary often. Purvi says no not at all, after all she ate the fruit, no one forced her to eat and is willing to testify for him when he faces his Dad's Inquiry into the incident.
This brings out false bravado in Rummy and says not necessary, for he can take care of himself as he is a Man. Akrithi passes a comment to say that fish has fallen for the bait – to mean this, but not the exact words. When asked to repeat, Akrithi says some sort of bone got in her tooth, Vidya quickly says what with a piece of bread.
Some where at the reception or some office, the two unwanted elements, after Purvi, are being recruited and are assigned work.
At the faculty room Doc Shalini and Abhimanyu try to get Major Vaibhavi round to see their point of View and Rummy need not get the tough punishment as he is new, but Major does not see that Point. Also that the things would be tough for the Major General as Rummy is his "Only Son". This was remark was made by the Doctor. Gunny's face goes blank and reaches for water to drink. Major Vaibhavi says the Major General is a capable officer and can take care of things, as Rummy is only a Cadet for the Major General and not a Son.
An orderly arrives to say Captain Gunraj is wanted by the Major General. And Major is surprised that she was not called for too, asks the orderly was he certain. Gunny Leaves. Major still cannot believe it and Abhimanyu says may be the Major General did not want to be influenced.
Out in the garden a batch mate of Purvi is excited at seeing her – Purvi and wants an autograph, at first Purvi tells her that right now she is a cadet, not a model. But the other cadet insists and Purvi obliges. Immediately few more arrive, all male, to get her Autograph, but Purvi declines and leaves from there, only to collide with Rummy.
Rummy flirts with her and ends up with his sob story that he misses his pack of cards, confiscated by Gunny and now with Major Vaibhavi. Hence the reason for all his misfortunes. Cards were his Lucky Charm.
Purvi falls for the bait, hook, line and stinker.
Later Purvi is dragging a reluctant and unwilling Peter to help her out, to get the pack of cards from Major Vaibhavi's room. She also has a plan that is to replace the original with another Pack. Peter does not want to help her.
Purvi does some arm twisting to say that his wireless Radio is with the Major and she wanted to get that one too, for him. Purvi pretends to go away, but she is shown to be doing the count down, 1 ; 2 ; 3 ; and Peter gives in. Reason given, team work.
Later at the Major's room which is locked, Peter tries few odd things, like peering, hearing at the lock and reels of the lock's history, he tells all except its ancestors and its roots.
Purvi tired of his history lecture quietly picks the lock with her hair pin and puts an end to Peter's lecture.
Purvi goes in, leaving Peter to lookout for Major Vaibhavi.
Inside Purvi looks for the pack of cards while Peter is on the look out.
The Major is doing the Left Right Left and reading a file. Peter desperately tries to alert Purvi but unable to do so.
Episode ends with Major and Peter – - blocking the door - - face to face.
